How is the HA when putting or Chipping using a Skytrak with E6? are the putts consistently right, or random? Are you getting alot of no reads?

How do I make this work using GC2, Protee interface , and GSX?

i can't seem to get E6 to recognize shots.

Well, I dont have a gc2 but i have protee and from what I understand the interface is the same. Alt E while you're in the interface, go to Use E6 field and set it to true and save. Go back to main interface screen, slide the Use TGC to false. Restart interface.

The chips are great with skytrak and the putting auto aligns for you so you always have a straight putt - I guess you can turn this off but it seems right for practice and sim golf.

E6 has "auto" alignment for putting? Do TGC or other sims on SkyTrak have the same feature? Thanks.

I do not think TGC has this....you have to align your putt. Meaning if there is a break left you either hit it to the left or align the marker on screen to the left and hit the put straight - if you can...hehehe

JNPG does not do this. You have to align the putt yourself to account for break.

Does anyone know or have done this. I installed the e6 demo and it is working great. I just ordered e6 from the skytrak web site - it will take 3 - 5 days for the software and dongle to arrive. Does anyone know if I just install the software per the directions or do I have to remove the demo?

I don't know but I asked a question about the e6 demo in the Trugolf part of this forum and got a very quick response from a Trugolf rep. You might want to try that.

Just got this demo up and running. Had a few hoops to jump through to get it authorized but now playing the course. Does the demo let you sign in? I have an account but every time I try to sign in it says something like lost connection. I've had to keep playing as a guest.

Is is this just due to the fact that it's a demo?

I was able to login when using the demo. The site could be down. I would try again tomorrow.

I never could get it to work in the first 30 days, now it won't let me reload it saying it is past the trial period, go figure.

Tried again today. Can play as a guest but still can't log in

i like the software ware but don't want to purchase it if this is going to be an ongoing issue

I couldn’t get it working with my GC2. I’d like to try it - even if just the driving range.

I am 1 week into the 30 day trial.
Sound doesn’t work for me out the box, can fix in my sound setting (needs to be done each time)
Putting from fringe is NOT a possibility. AND then a significant uptick in “no reads” for short fringe chips with a wedge, rendering the software unplayable and causing a harder shot to overshoot the green - e6 says “it’s a Skytrak issue not their software” (I called and asked thinking maybe there was a patch for the full version or I was missing something? Nope.)
Otherwise I really really do like the software but have reservations.

Alphaseekr please how did you get the sound to work? Even If it needs to be changed every time i really want to try E6 with sound

I use a tv as a second display, I just switch the sound source on my pc back to the laptop.

No, it didn’t work for me. Tried everything, installed new drivers, switched cables, switch from onboard soundcard to other. If Anyone get any progress on this issue please inform me.

Ive tried to file a support issue with E6 support But doubt they can help.
