Hi all,

Some cool new features around Challenges and Game Improvement in here.

v3.3 Release Notes

• Added Saved Presets and Randomizer to Game Improvement Activities
• Skills Assessment displays Dynamic Handicap and Distance to Pin for each shot
• Updated Dynamic Handicap Formula
• Added Event Mode to Challenges
• Added Scoring Mode and Shot Order to Challenges
• Improvements to Target Distance Sliders
• Added file to store app preferences/settings
• Miscellaneous Bug Fixes and Improvements

As these threads typically go, new feature requests start piling in so let me get out ahead this time The next couple of updates will include updated tracers, updated camera views, updated environment, updated graphic quality, club management, and multiple users. I'll continue to chip away at your additional feature requests as well. We also have robot testing scheduled at the end of this month for high ball speed measurement accuracy.

I have the straight putting patch and feel like I'm cheating when I play TGC. I just hope that Skytrak can fix the short putting direction accuracy.

SkyTrak_Seth here is the shot optimizer not working (100% not working, no matter which club I select). Thank you for your help.

Can you try to reinstall the software? What are your computer specs? I just tested this on PC and iOS and it works fine for me. Anyone else having this issue?

I've found the bug here and will take care of it asap, but when you go to practice and the unit goes to LH, if you look in the settings, is it LH or RH? And if you toggle that back and forth, it never changes the laser?

i will have to check again, but i am pretty certain it says RH under settings. Toggling between LH/RH changes the laser temporarily but then in practice mode it will revert to LH.

Randomised set up is a great addition, and complete randomization would be superb.

Looks like the club comparison numbering has disappeared?

Downloaded 3.3 app yesterday 9/18/18 had same problem changed from right hand laser to left hand. Also only using one time have to check several times to be sure, but this time all irons I hit was 5 to 7 yds short of my normal distance.

I’m a little late to comment but I used the new version for the first time recently. Feedback:

- I’m getting the right to left hand issue others have referenced which has never happened for me until this update
- it started with last update but continued for me that my iPad struggled to connect with Skytrak when I first start a session in network mode. For some reason the only fix is powering the iPad on and off
- the randomizer in skills assessment isn’t what I expected (nor do I find the current version useful). I expected to pick a distance range and Hit start and the software would simply randomly generate a yardage for me in that range, I would hit one shot then it would pick a new yardage etc. This wouldn’t have a fixed end point (or I guess it could be a total number of shots like I say 30). I want to simulate real play where one shot to the next is different and I don’t know what’s coming. With the current randomizer approach I often hit 6 or 9 of the same club in a row if I don’t watch the yardages it picked.
- I am dissapointed club data isn’t being made more of a priority either through estimation or a more seamless integration with club attachments (maybe I need to buck up and buy one to try out current integration but I’m still leery after wasting money on a swingbyte before I had my Skytrak). Easy user integration with dependable even if not perfect results would make Skytrak a clear favourite for most home users ($10k plus for ball and club data has to be a narrow audience). Maybe the Skytrak calculated club data could be compared against the R-motion captured data by the app and if they aren’t giving feedback within reasonable tolerance then results change colour or aren’t shown. Both methods of data capture aren’t perfect but you’d hope together the results could be trusted by users.

Guys, as always thanks for the awesome and quick feedback. Hoping to get v3.3.1 out at the beginning of October to address the issues you've encountered. In addition to what's already in there, will also include:

1) We've got the LH/RH laser bug sorted.
2) We are adding randomizer to practice greens (new target every shot)
3) Also trying to figure out this shot optimzer bug with metric

I have the same issue three computers and as it a comercial facility, I always start with one computer, then a second a week later, and finally the third when the update seems working great. I didnt catch this bug before installing on the three computers but I wouldnt bet on an install issue on 3 different computers :-(

Hey Seth, can you update the iOS app so it works better with the new iPhones? Because the new phones have a notch it either cuts off the left or right of the screen. In the pic I put what it looks like.

I just got my SkyTrak and had started off using it in Skills Assessment mode. Last night, after I ran through a bag mapping, I wanted to work on a couple of problematic clubs so I flipped over to practice mode for the first time. I was SO confused by the laser being in front of the unit and the fact that nothing was getting picked up (didn't realize it was flipping to LH mode, but that makes sense now). I am quite thankful to find this is a known bug that is in the process of being fixed!

Yep, that one is fixed and we should be releasing a patch next week.

Any future releases to help with alignment of the unit. Probably the main I never use the application anymore. I have to setup each time and it probably takes me 10 minutes to get a descent alignment.

Hello ! As I have to switch left/right often in my facility, I end up by doing a plank of wood. Now I just have to put my plank with one side on the midle of the screen (or offset if you are not center but in the line where you want to play) and the other side in the front of the metal case of the skytrak. It take me less than one minute to switch (in fact I do not use the plank of wood anymore because I mark the position on the ground but if you cant its still a quick way with the plank).
