That's what I figured. So if I buy TGC from SkyTrak now, will I get the TGC2019 free upgrade from SkyTrak, or will SkyTrak decide the price of the upgrade at a later date? Is there any chance that I can download the upgrade from ProTee directly like the Alpha Testers? As for opening a ticket, I assumed I had to work with SkyTrak since they are the only folks that can sell me the software. Calling them has not answered any questions for me.
I'm glad to proceed down any path you suggest, I just don't really understand the relationship between the different companies involved here. I was surprised to see the splash screen say Rapsodo on the SkyTrak software. They must play some role in the product, but I've not figured that out yet.

If that is the case what happens to those of us who purchased TGC in 2018 but didn't get Alpha Access? How do we "purchase" the upgrade from Skytrak if we qualify for the free upgrade? Will Skytrak (via Skygolf ) offer the free upgrade based on purchase history?Comment

Alpha is a test build, strictly for testing purposes, which we made available for a selected group of people.
If you purchased TGC in 2018 or between now and the actual release (not alpha or beta, but final release) you will receive a free upgrade when the final version has been released.
SkyTrak users who are eligible for a free upgrade (see above) will receive an email from SkyTrak with a free upgrade code when TGC 2019 has been released for SkyTrak.
An upgrade package will be made available for purchase on the SkyTrak/SkyGolf websites. SkyTrak owners who do not qualify for a free upgrade must purchase this upgrade package through SkyTrak.
We give SkyTrak the US$ pricing for the various software packages (including the upgrade pricing), which they publish in the online stores.

Yep I'm ready to pull the trigger on the TGC if I keep the SkyTrak. I still miss way too many shots. Right now I'm trying Direct Mode rather than Network. I've given up on USB. I know it's capable of capturing the shots because I've had streaks where it catches almost 100% for about 100 shots in a row. However, it often gets in a funk and misses over half the shots, which is really annoying if I have a guest. I bought my software in late 2017, so before 2018 which would have made me eligible for a free upgrade according to what is mentioned in this thread.
