SkyTrak App Enhancement and Feature Requests

Iv'e read the thread... I am sure some of these requests have been made. The thread is long and has a fair amount of drift from time to time. Any repeat request should strengthen the call for these changes
1. play courses online
2. play with other individuals online
3. connect to Mac (shouldn't be too hard since you have the iPad app done, I work with other apps that were converted)
4. annotate shots with notes, a thumbs up/down was mentioned but it may be better to have more information
5. strengthen online content, right now it is very thin...
6. have normative/comparative database of swing data
7. develop analytics to look at trends and tendencies
8. expand the club selection, i need way more than 14 clubs, you should be able to select your club from a database
9. warm up mode
10. more online support tools & faqs (I know its a battle with the marketing folks)

+1 Agolfman - great idea on the skills challenge.
+1 on the list vitman sent too.
I also have a couple of requests for bug fixes:
1) Since the default clubs in the app don't represent the full set of clubs I use in my bag I have to customize them. This works OK during my practice sessions, however every time I leave the app and relaunch, I have to go thru the clunky and time consuming task of re-editing my bag since they don't appear to be saved. Would be great if I could save the clubs in my bag once vs doing this every time.
2) I've noticed I have to log in every time I launch the app with my password. 2 problems with this: 1) Sometimes the app doesn't recognize the password even though it is entered correctly. The only fix appears to be kill the SkyTrak app and relaunch. 2) Why do I need to put my password in every time anyway? I'm the only one who uses the app on my iPad. The "remember me" check box should also remember my password and log me in automatically. Kind of a PITA.
On a separate note, the software feels more like a beta version than a fully tested release. I would be OK with that if I wasn't be charged an annual subscription fee. Albeit minimal, it feels cheap that SkyTrak is charging me $99 per year for the privilege of testing their software. Lame.

+1 for greater ability to modify session data, specifically...
- delete a single shot's data (currently all shots are considered in the averages, this isnt helpful if you're trying to determine your club gaps and have a stinker shot affecting the whole adversely)
- averages based on selected groups of shots, not only the whole
- including selected club in the data set, able to sort by club... this is more like what Foresight provides in their driving range SW, where choosing a diff club changes shot trajectory line color and groups data together.
Thanks!

Save preferences for camera view and Spin Axis/Side Spin display preference
Save preferences for Altitude, Temperature, Wind etc
Show spin axis on Skygolf 360
Allow export of data from Skygolf360
Edit club used on Skygolf 360 (for all those dumb moments when I forgot to change the default driver to the 7I I'm actually using and get a load of 110 MPH Drivers...
)

I have the sync working now, but it reveals a dire need for the ability to edit or delete shots in order to have the data make sense, since my current data includes both a number of "demo" shots that are fired off if you tap the logo during a practice session (which records an imaginary shot in your history that is not yours at all), and unfortunately a number of swings where I either forgot or incorrectly changed the club being used (so I have a lot of lob wedges mixed in with my driver swings mixed in with some imaginary swings from the demo mode, for example). Thanks!

Okay so some of these may be rehashes, if so consider them "me too" posts. I have had enough time with the SkyTrak that I have some things I would like to see.
1. Add Gap Wedge to the list of clubs.
2. Make the distance slider for the practice mode allow for manual input. Very difficult to get an exact number on the iPad.
3. Add a practice mode that gives you a new random distance each shot. This promotes a practice more like on the course, since you don't just hit 6 shots in a row from 155 on the course. Forces you to hone all your clubs.
4. an OS X client. Please don't force us Mac users to have to buy Windows and install Bootcamp.

1. Peak Height
2. Descent Angle
3. Ball physics correction. ST seems to over draw or fade a ball compared to real world travel. If I hit a 6 iron shot with 14° of side angel 186 yards at some point in the flight it will stop drawing or fading and start to drop. ST keeps the ball moving at a constant and ends up being way out of line with the balls travel. GC2 seems to do the same thing though.
Some of these have been said. I just said it again because I want to see them.

What would the point be? You aren't hitting off those lies, you are hitting off a perfect lie every time. It's not going to help you get the feel for how to strike the ball on those lies and how far it would really go.

You are aware rbarthle17 that there are companies that make platforms that simulate sidehill, uphill and downhill lies, right? This is something I'm actually interested in too (the simulator picking it up), and using a platform to simulate, as you are exactly right, playing every shot from a perfect lie does not make a good simulator, how many times a round do you have a perfect lie for your shot when you are not on the tee?
Here's one from XGolf:
