The data from the shots would also be helpful and not just the final distance to the pin. I've found the "roll distance" to be inconsistent.

Guys, very, very good stuff in here. Already have quite a few of these under our belt. Please remember to keep this limited to enhancements and feature requests. Keep any shot data questions or usage questions in the other thread. I'll do my best to hop over there and address some of those soon.

I would like to see an option in the games section to display in feet instead of yards (7 yards to the pin sounds worse to me than 21 feet....)
Also a 'Closest to the centreline' comp would be nice - some of my buddies don't hit it the same distances, so the long drive comp doesn't always work well. Plus it would allow you to practice with any club, and switch whenever without affecting the stats. Helpful for working on shot shape.

I want to see apex height, descent angle, and have the ability to delete shots. Also able to compare selected shots to each other with a different color tracer. Would help with comparing drivers to each other.

Here are a couple of request from my 3.5 hour session and comparison with GC2.

More Stats: Shot height, Angle of descent.
Better app: Delete shots, change color tracer, putting, easier target setup in the challenge mode cause it's hard to be precise since when removing finger from the iPad the number changes. (I am not really good with touch monitors)
Better Hardware: Easy alignment aid, simple base with levelling feature.

Does anyone know if there plans to make this work on a laptop, or Google Chromecast (vs. AppleTV) so it can be viewed on a monitor?

Rumor is yes for PC. Also, you can get an adapter that plugs into the ipad then has a vga or hdmi out for a monitor. That is what I am using to connect to a projector.

Yes PC and Android are in the works. Have both of them working in the office actually. Can't comment on a release date quite yet.

I think I may have mentioned this elsewhere, but since this is really intended as a consumer device, I prefer to leave 'advanced' data such as flight time, smash factor, angle of descent, shot height, etc for a more advanced fitting type app. In the meantime, any shot data such as those mentioned that you would like to see, please post them up. Right now my focus is on the mid-iron fix for ball flight, but will be turning my attention toward this fitting app soon.

Are there any plans to make a Mac-compatible software package?

Not sure. It won't be anytime soon though.

Yes, but probably no until PC and Android are done. The good news is that it will probably require less dev changes than either of the other two coming from iPad.

An easier way to connect to a projector is through an APPLE TV via Airplay. No wires, just stream it. The problem with the Lightning to HDMI adapter is the HDMI is a very heavy head compared to the lightning input, so with no "lock" it falls out very easily.

If you install Air Pin Lite on your google box, you can stream via airplay.

I think there's really a lot of good insight here and I agree with all of it. I'd put my comments about enhancements into two categories: application performance and game improvement (regardless of current skill sets, a critical use case is that we're invested in this device because we all want to see improvements in our games, and yes, Sim integration ):

                              1. Application performance: the app has to perform in a near real time manner with shot feedback that gets better with every release. In theory, we could see this empirically....in an admin setting, the ST app could show time from shot capture to shot rendering. I'm only saying this because it keeps the ST team focused on making this the very best experience possible to continue to gain share. As a user, it would be very satisfying to see these gains and alleviate the need to keep thinking about whether I need to upgrade my iPad, etc. Be transparent and you shall be rewarded.

                              2. Game improvement: so many good suggestions already. But to sum them up, as players we need to have an experience that constantly challenges us to become better. I really believe that the Flightscope and Trackman Combine modes are some of the best thinking in this space. The comparative data to PGA and LPGA tour data and amateur results from a proper scoring system would be really great. I also would like to be able to "value" a range session using deviations and track progress across clubs. Maybe I really need to work on hybrids more than PWs, and the right data set for a similarly handicap player could tell me that....sort of a shots gained metric applied to practice sessions.

Looking ahead to WGT integration, I could imagine there might be a "best of" series: best par three tee shots with variable conditions from US Open courses...best approach shots from windy links course, etc., maybe these could be randomized as well. With the WGT pictures, this could be really fun and interesting. Especially if the ball/ground physics are as good as the WGT apps. All done in either single player or multi player mode.
