  • I completely agree with everything ZMax is saying. We both have E6. It's very weak in all the areas he said. I personally never use it. In fact a forum member is coming over this weekend to test out ProTee. I will show him E6 as well. ProTee once setup is get accurate. GC2 is awesome but not perfect. It's setup is easy and it's accurate. Skytrak is as ZMax says.

    • Ok Bubba, thanx for your input! Im a lousy putter....is the putting thing in ProTee that good that you think one can develop the putting skills with the help of it.
If you had one choice only, only one......would it be ProTee, GC2 without HMT or SkyTrak for you?

      • If I only had one choice, it would be ProTee integrated with a LM.

        • Yeah.....like Trackman you mean.....or is GC2 counted as a LM?

          Comment

          • No, don't want to use a Trackman indoors. I meant portable camera based LM such as GC2, SkyTrak, etc...

            • BubbZ....today is you lucky day, you have one choice to make that will be forever...

              1. SkyTrak with ProTee
              2. GC2 except HTM with ProTee
              3. ProTee total solution.
              4. Another solution that will be on the market this year that you knows about and is priced like as the others

You will ony use it in a garage where the ballflight is 2,1 meters.

You will get it for free, but you will have to stay with it

              • #1 is not a real option. #2 is the obvious choice. But I will go with #3. And that's my final answer!

                • Your civil work must be as a politicans or diplomat of some kind

So you go for #3 if you not have the HTM with GC2. But I guess you go for #2 if you have the HTM, right?!
In this question #1 is for real......you still go for #3......this is the most important question for me....

Does this help me at all??

                  • GC2+HMT+ProTee would be ideal if I could get it all for free. No more questions Sonax. I've already said too much.

                      • #2 would be great but I would stay with #3.

                        • Shit, Im really surprised....ProTee is that good....it didnt belive that. The Graphics engine in ProTee....is that the red something, or is it just calle ProTee?

                          • I've owned the ProTee system since February '14--was using Optishot before that--bleh. It's been awesome to play legit golf in my basement until 2am on work nights (trust me the time flies by), learn about the golf swing, and ultimately lower my strokes from 110 down to a consistent 90-94. It helps that I'm addicted and I've read the Hogan book a few times. Now I can be snobby and say I'm at the point where I really want to know my spin rates beyond the calculated values from ProTee (also eliminate the crazy misread).

The twist for me is, given the onset of TGC simulator edition expected sometime this month, I'm content to spin my wheels on that for a while and wait for the next affordable LM, effectively skipping the SkyTrak release. Those guys at SportTrak didn't get their ducks in a row by going with e6; I feel somewhat cheated. As it currently stands TruGolf is headed in the wrong direction. How is TruGolf going to continue selling $1000 course packs while TGC is limitless with open-access hardware connections?...TGC+ProTee/OpenLM should own the market if informed minds prevail.

That being said, I'm coming off my previous post of early-adopting the SkyTrak. I'm now of the mindset that I want an LM produced by a company with the same open-source values and Execs like ProTee. If you've ever talked to Dennis @ ProTee you know ProTee has User Satisfaction as their #1 priority and I gather #2 is probably reinvesting into the company for long term success i.e. partnering with other hardware and software companies. If you're on the fence about SkyTrak and/or you value open-source/open-access/user-driven products then show it by holding out for the next LM.

                            You vote with your dollar.
