I was aiming at your answer to Longhornlove, "Do you need this right now?".....but you perhaps were aiming at his current weather status?

Z, are there any options in the app for showing a 4:3 picture? What happens when you tell the projector to show 4:3?

It will be SkyTrak for me, I only have 2 meters of ball flight, and that is to short for ProTee...

New here, bought a Skytrak with $500.00 discount. Just looked at website, preorder discount is gone. Hope I made the right decision. Will provide pics of room as it is being built. Thanks for all the knowledge.

I have not tried hooking it up my iPad to a projector yet because I don't have a digital adapter. So, I can't answer that question. They are coming out with a pc version of the app. No ETA. And we don't have it to test yet.

What I've been told by Skytrak is: "We do anticipate PC integration prior to the end of the year and there will be an announcement soon regarding our simulation partner."

Take that for what it's worth as we all know deadlines can change but it's good to know they have that as a goal.

Maybe they'll see how fast ProTee is advancing with TGC and hop on board.

Maybe the train has already left the station?

That could be taken one of two ways. Either they're on a train headed to Nowheresville OR they hopped on the train to TGCtown at the last second.

In all the chaos of pre orders no one asked bubba or zmax if they would buy this thing or go another route when it comes to Simulated Play.

I think Zmax said he wouldn't buy it.

I think based off of everything that I have read that if you know what you are buying it for and why, then you should be happy with what is coming, as the device seems based off of the comments to have been made to do,a good job as a launch monitorMr hat is based off of ball data only. Where the device is lacking is currently on the simulation front. Thus, likely don't buy at the moment if you want to use it as a simulator, and which makes sense until they get putting figured out plus when they announce the E6 integration works.

Zmax/Bubbs....I understand that you have been around for a while, you are in all forums that I find, no matter the year it was written.....is a GolfAchiever II with 15 cources a alternative compared to SkyTrak?? Accuracy, etc....

no. Not IMO. Accuracy might be good. I've never used one but folks complain about how it will get out of alignment if struck by too many fat shots. And extra courses were really expensive. They even had a rental program for courses. Not sure if that's still the case. Courses uses the same software as the Optishot courses.
