From the videos, it looks like you put the tee into the turf at the red dot, without needing to move the unit.Originally posted by heisman32 View PostI apologize if this has already been answered but how do you alternate between hitting off the turf and hitting off of a tee since the ball needs to be placed where the laser indicates? Does this require moving the SkyTrak?

Ahh. Another product to wait for hehe. PP's forum says they hope for a release on Steam before the new year.
Thats coming up fast if they don't really have a release date yet.
At any rate, I'm excited just to get the SkyTrak.
Unfortunately, I have only 8.5' ceiling heights in the house, except for the main family room... where a simulator environment probably wouldn't fly. Will have to find a way to do a garage simulator eventually... or move... now I know some of the requirements for a new house.

Guys, before you get too excited...that is NOT our announcement on the course play partner.
Also, to answer the question about turf, hitting drivers is fine - you just stick the tee on the red dot. There are two issues with hitting irons off turf: First you would need to repeatedly move the unit to avoid hitting out of your divot. And second, your divot kicks up debris that interferes with the image processing. So, can it be done...I guess, but I don't advise it.

Well, i finally got off the fence and ordered. From what is currently out there, amount i was willing to spend, my garage limitations and the systems I currently have, this is probably the best fit for me. Just hoping the pc integration will be sooner rather than later.
