    Hey Aaron,

he SkyTrak isn't on total lockdown I'd give him a decent chance of getting it to connect with the ProTee sim through the open SDK. I will gladly share everything I find but it will likely take a few weeks after release of the SkyTrak to get it going.
That's awesome, keep us posted on what you find out... I don't see why it's not possible to get the open SDK working with the SkyTrak.

We are talking with several Golf Simulator manufacturers about connecting their systems with The Golf Club Simulator. This will be awesome! ProTee owners, brand X owners, brand Y owners, brans Z owners, etcetera will be able to play with or against eachother online. Sharing courses, playing tournaments, socialize and more...

        Exciting stuff!

I'd guess in about 18 to 24 months from now. This based on the roll-out of the new launch monitor, which doesn't "talk" to any other technology...
Effectively, everyone should be concentrating on their sim room build out, but not yet committing to a technology.
              My 2 cents!

Don't think so. But I can understand how you feel. The delayed launch of some devices is not indicative of future launches of other devices or software integrations.

Just downloaded the ipad app and noticed a couple of things; (which may still be in dev)

                    Clubs available are;
                    Driver, 2W, 3W, 4W, 5W, 6W(?), 3-9 iron.

No wedges? No adding or editing the clubs? So I assume its calculating the lofts and lengths from preset numbers plugged in by Skytrak? I found you can edit the club names in the user profile but that's about it.

Mentioning that, there is some user data for a "Michael Rodriguez" loaded in the app when you go through without registering yourself (need a connected unit). Is this just test data?

The skills challenges screens look great, although the App crashes now and then when trying to load and is a little slow at loading. I would again assume this is all dev upgrades still to come to make it more stable.

Lastly, I've also been able to make it generate shots by tapping the screen/ball. There's no real control of the distance or flight but lets you see all the numbers and views that are possible!

From what I see I like

Our sales team is getting a lot of questions on the Skytrak system.
Questions like, when it will be released and if it will work with The Golf Club.

                      To clear things up:

Skytrak is not a ProTee product. The software - whatever it is (including the mobile app) is also not ProTee software. We are also not working on any kind of connectivity between the Skytrak and ProTee Golf 2.0 or The Golf Club Game.

So... if you have any questions concerning Skytrak and their software, please contact them directly. I'm sure they will be able to answer your questions on release dates.

Of course feel free to talk about it on our forum ;-)

That app is not the latest. The club selection is just there for your shot history and nothing else. You can leave it on driver all day long if you want. Wedges will be added.

Like I said earlier, evidence points to e6 connectivity. Read between the lines folks.

We have E6 here and everyone can see (even with the demo you can download online from Trugolf) that you can select Skytrak (like ProTee, Trackman, Flightscope, etc) as your hardware of choice.

So there is not much guessing here. I guess..
