SkyTrak v3.4.1 Official Release

Hi Everyone,

As you all know, this has been quite a wait - thanks to all of you for your patience! There are a lot of backend changes that needed to happen for v3.4.1, and thus we will be rolling this release out over the next couple of days. I wanted to start with the forum and give you guys first crack at it before it goes live to the public. So below, you can find the PC download links for 32-bit and 64-bit. Please give this a go and let me know if you run into any issues. Assuming all goes smoothly, we will roll out iOS and Android beginning tomorrow.

v3.4.1 Release Notes

- Added support for multiple accounts to aid in switching back and forth easily between users and for multiplayer challenges.
- Added the ability to create a custom golf bag in Profile. You may toggle to this bag in the Practice club selection popup.
- Improvements to high ball speed measurements (150mph+).
- Fixed Dispersion Circle display bug in shot plotting screen.
- Fixed LH display bug in Shot History.
- Fixed delete shot bug in Practice Greens.
- Added Internet Availability icon to Dashboard.

as I mentioned before, I hit 5 before and after update and saw a 3 mph increase in driver ball speed. im also noticing an increase in ball speed for my mid irons as well, but I didn't do a real before and after test. I was also doing some swing drills before I hit these mid iron shots (not before the driver shots) so that might have something to do with it. but if anyone has the time to do before and after tests on shots below 160, might be worth it.

I'll give it a try when I get home. I'm typically around the 150-155mph ball speed with my driver as of now. I actually have some prior metrics documented so I will just update and see what happens.

You will see a very mild increase in ball speed (hopefully).

That is what I measured. I mentioned in the ST users group on Facebook that I saw a jump from 155avg to roughly 160avg on my middled driver shots. I'm still hitting with far too much spin (that's all me though)

SkyTrak_Seth it was connected in network prior to doing the update. Now I can’t get the skytrak to find my network in network mode when I scan or put it in manually. I have changed nothing but doing the update. What’s my next move? I tried connecting it back on my iPad and it does the same thing. For some reason the skytrak can’t find my network. I had no issues connecting it when I originally bought it 4 months ago. I did the same steps as I’m doing now.

Brian, thanks for this. All of this information helps. I don't see how the update could have messed with your network connection - we didn't change anything with unit connection. Especially seeing that your iPad running on v3.3.2 has lost the ability to connect as well...has anything changed with your network? This one is extremely puzzling.

I have tried resetting the skytrak too. I recently just bought new subscription from MacAfee so maybe it would be something in there preventing my network from being visible to skytrak? there is a shield indicator over the skytrak wifi signal when I connect direct mode to it but since it wont find my network on my ipad, I thru that idea out the window because I didn't change any antivirus software on there

SkyTrak_Seth still not able to find my network after resetting the skytrak and even turning off my firewall, im at a loss at what has happened and don't know what else to do? I have been able to test the update in usb mode and have found an increase in my ball speed which was in the 155 range and now is in the mid 160 range.

SkyTrak_Seth Can you elaborate on how/where the custom clubs are used? When selecting clubs on the practice range, the club selector looks the same to me.

lol yes, but I never would have noticed those tabs on the right had I not been looking for them. Even took me a few seconds to find them after I knew they should be there. They blend into the background and don’t match the rest of the popup UI. I predict I’ll be answering that question hundreds of times in my group.

Updated the software with no problem at all. Ball speed correction seems to have made a big change int eh distance being more accurate!

Yeah Like some others I have been reading and watching these forums for years now trying to get the courage to pull the trigger. Had me eye set on ST due to cost and was waiting til after PGA show to see if any updates for ST were announced. Then with the mevo+ coming out and having decent reviews, totally threw my thought process out the window. Now with the update to ST I'm back being indecisive.

SkyTrak_Seth not sure if this is useful or not but I conducted a little experiment last night hitting driver pre and post patch. I only counted the best 7 from each using foot spray to confirm strike was consistent and out of the middle

Hi Steth, I tell you mine from Italy, I don't see what the usefulness of the function of my bag is, in any case it is there and nothing changes.
What really changes and has really bored me and that if I don't have an internet connection, it won't allow me to play.
This in my opinion is something to be fixed .. For other things I personally have not seen differences ...

Being able to name clubs and create a bag will help with tracking your clubs' performance over time, especially for when you upgrade to a new set or change out clubs. You will then be able to see the difference between the new clubs and your old. I'm not sure what you mean about the internet connection...you can use the SkyTrak app just fine without internet. Do you mean one of our simulation partners?

I meant to say that if you don't have an internet connection with the new version it doesn't give you the possibility of being able to run the program and it will let you out. With the old one even without internet connection it allowed you to be able to train
