Hi Seth. I'm new to this forum but have been reading as much as I can about SkyTrak on this and other forums. It seems that many experienced sim users think that The Golf Club game is the best simulator software out there right now. In fact, if I'm understanding and remembering things correctly, Bubba22 and Zmax were instrumental (please correct me if I'm wrong) in getting ProTee to integrate their sim hardware (and gc2) with The Golf Club software. So my question to you/SkyTrak is simply this: Has there been any thought to integrating SkyTrak with The Golf Club? And if so, what are the odds that this might happen? And if so, when?

Are you sure its a GTX 970 and not GTX 970M? Makes a huge difference. There are 3 flavours of GTX 970. The M is the weakest.
Checking the GPU performance charts the minimum Graphics card suggested to run TGC is the GTX 670 - it is ranked 30th on Passmark.
The GTX 970M is ranked 60th on Passmark, much less and thus not likely enough to run TGC.
Take into account that a great desktop will always beat a great laptop in terms of performance for the buck.Last edited by aja; 02-28-2016, 10:10 AM.

I never had a single putt not read from the fairway, fringe or green. I place the ball a few inches behind the red dot so my putter (white faced odyssey) isn't in the way.Comment

ProTee, I did the search, clicked on all the links you posted that supposedly contain the details to the rebate, but all links just took me the the front of this gigantic 70 page thread. Maybe it's time to create a separate thread for all the "FAQs" since now TGC is released?

I obviously have not been through all 92000 courses yet, but is it Amen Corner which is the best replica of Augusta? Friends coming over soon and would like to tee that up.Comment

I could not find that one but I played Augusta National (Sunday) which was handicap rated, and I had a blast. I am blown away by how accurate my yardages are from 60 degree wedge all the way to driver.
Buying TGC was the absolute critical step in making the whole sim experience awesome!

Experienced some juiced irons on the first two Q school courses I played this morning. Had several balls that should have stuck on the green that rolled through like others have posted. SEVERAL phantom shots. Which really doesn't bother me all that much except when the phantom shot puts you in the water because it seems you can't rewind that shot. Cost me about 7-8 strokes in my two rounds. That was VERY frustrating.

Can't read any of it. You can make screenshots in windows with ALT-PRINT SCREEN. This will copy the screen to your clipboard. Past it into MSPAINT or some other tool. Save as JPG and embed into your post. -
It looks like those are showing club face angle and swing path. Does ST actually measure those, or are they being calculated from the ball direction and spin? -
Sorry folks. I uploaded those from my phone and they didn't upload well. I'll use my computer in the future.
First shot: Back 7511 RPM Side 874 Spin Axis 9.0 Club head 65 Ball 95.9 Carry 142 and total distance 158. So that's 16 yards of roll after hitting a green. I believe this was with a 9 iron.
Second Shot: Back 7428 Side 207 Spin 1.6 Carry of 80 Total Distance 94 Club 47.55 Ball 69.9 - That was with a 56 wedge I believe

I invested in a high end gaming rig and it was worth it. Night and day difference compared to the iMac that could only run well at low resolution. It's going to run you about $1000 for the combination of processing and graphics card but if you plan on playing sim golf year round it's worth it.Comment

Protee or anyone that might help.........I finished installing TGC for Skytrak and I hit all the related checks until I get to hit "Play"...........it brings up the The Golf Club and then stops with an error saying " The Protee SDK is not connected or not on. Turn it on to continue or exit the game." What did I miss? ThxComment

Are you referring to the settings in the TGC app? I'm unable to launch TGC from there and when I do I get a screen with a bunch of options "X" out. I've tried to enter my access code there but it won't allow me.
The only way I'm able to launch the TGC is via the interface "play" button. -
These settings are in TGC. Click SETTINGS from the main menu. There are no setting in any of the external interfaces (yet).

Have your skytrak on in wifi connect mode before you connect box - that is all I had to do. Lag was about 8 seconds on wifi so i went and bought a 15 ft active USB cable. now lag a bit over 2 seconds much betterLast edited by Scyukon; 02-29-2016, 02:24 AM. -
Scyukon - that's great (2 second lag), can you tell us exactly which USB cable you got? Active USB cable, not sure what that means, is that the brand? I wonder if the length will change the lag time - as I'm going to have to run to about 30 feet for mine.

Next rookie questions.....1.). How do I get to driving range functionality in TGC? I think I've seen some comments on that. 2.) anyone know how to actually shut the TGC interface off? No exit that I can find. I don't even see it in task manager....but it's running.Comment

Thx! How about another couple of ?'s. 1.) where do I find boost functionality? 2.). When I click on the TGC simulator icon, I get a main menu window and the settings section has a red X on it. But I can't do anything with it. Do I need to use this or just always hit play from the Interface? Thx again.
