1 minute delays between shots since Skytrak software update last month

Hi everyone. I use the Skytrak frequently. Since the software update last month, when I'm on the range, I get a tracer of the shot at the appropriate time delay interval. However, now there's a roughly 30 seconds to one minute pause before displaying the numerical data at the bottom of the screen and getting ready for the next shot. This never happened before the software update. Any advice? SkyTrak_Seth ? Is there a way to switch back to the old software?

Same problem here with my both units (with two different computers). Sometime, for few shot, delay is as usual, but quickly get this 30sec / 1min delay for the data (shot tracer is OK)...

Same problem here as well. Sometimes it's completely normal for a while, then sometimes it just freezes before displaying data or trying to get to the next shot.

Same here. Feel like it has been since the golftec migration. Guess I'm glad it's not a problem with my hardware.

I think what is happening is that it is syncronizing the data after the server move. Should disappear after a while, maybe a few sessions.

I was having same problem. Deleted the folder that was mentioned by skytrak seth and the problem went away.

Try deleting the SkyTrak folder in "C:\Users\[current user]\App Data\Local Low" and then relaunch the app.
I have finally upgraded the skytrack software on my WIndows 10 X-64 pc. It seemed to install fine (Visual C++ ran and said it was successful) I reboot my pc and started the golf sim software. I get a scree that comes up during loading saying "upgrading local database to new version..." It just sits there at this

                        Hi All,

As several have posted, can you try the following?

                        1) Delete the local cache - go to C:/Users/Owner(or current user)/App Data/Local Low and delete the SkyTrak folder in there
                        2) Relaunch the app with internet and let the data sync for 10 minutes.

Does this fix the problem or does it persist? If it is still there, I will reach out individually to grab logs from you guys.

I tried doing that at some point (clearing the cache, relaunching, logging in, and letting it sync for a while), but it was the same or worse.

Basically, what I've found is that, after clearing the cache and relaunching the app, I can use it (right away) and it works well at the beginning (maybe for about an hour or so), and then after that, it starts getting slow in between shots, and doesn't seem to get better (even after multiple sessions) until I clear the cache again.

So, in my experience, the problem doesn't seem to be the syncing itself, but just having a lot of data in the local cache after it has synced, so probably adding new shots to already large local history is what's causing the slowness.
Also, if I go the the history page (from the home screen), it always takes a long time to load the history of shots/sessions (even if it says it's already synced).
And just to be clear, the issue of slowness after each shot is definitely new since the 4.3 release (I don't remember having this issue in any previous versions).
Let me know if you need any more info. For now, I've resorted to always clearing the cache after each session, and this has been manageable, but definitely not ideal.

Hello SkyTrak_Seth and thank you for the follow up.

Like difg , I still have the same issues. Just to be clear, I am a Skytrak reseller and sold / set up hundreds of units (so I am pretty confortable with the unit).

Like others, I am 100% sure that the problem is new with the 4.3 update (our 2 skytrak units are used many hours every days). Internet connection is really good at our office and Skytrak is plugged via USB to the computer (tried direct mode between Skytrak and compouter with internet through RJ45 on computer and doesnt solved the issue).

Hope you can figure out what it is because its unusable in our facility.

After being frustrated with the same issue, thinking it was my hardware or computer, I came here to read this is not isolated to my setup. I'm having the exact same issue as DIFG and only after the recent update with Golftec integration. It is so frustrating to the point that I hate using the simulator.

Deleting cache over and over again cannot be the fix here. SkyTrak_Seth, we need updates and for Skytrak to confirm one is being pursued, not a recommendation to continue deleting cache for the same problem to persist every session.
