Some of you have been drinking the PG koolaid too long...TGC designers are free to use any topographical data available including LIDAR.

There may be other aspects that differentiate a given PG/TGC title but that shouldn't be one of them.

Because the bottom picture is real. Haha. That's a comparison shot of the real 15th green versus the PG version.

Augusta looks incredible! What an amazing replication. The fact that Perfect Golf can use LIDAR data means that the topography will be extremely accurate. Looks like sim golf is going to the next level!

Nice. Very pleased with TGC, but for 250 annually, getting PG as well is a given.

Was a comment made by the Creators of PG last week. They expected a release Monday, but again, something has transpired somewhere to delay it.
It's ready, SkyGolf just has to let it be available on the storefront for purchase.

So where does this Monday talk come from? Are we really close?

Augusta is due for beta release Thursday, and it looks sensational. Things just went from bad to worse.

Is now a good time to say, "It's just around the corner."?

Thanks Mr. President. I'm guessing no one specified which Monday they were talking about. I am firmly in the "I'll believe it when I see it" camp.

I think this is also showing that it's a double edged sword for a company that wants to solicit advice from users, for improvement, testing or community. But without extending that back in most circumstances.
I feel for SportTrak - they are not really SkyGolf (At least I'm pretty sure they are not a full owned subsidiary) but they get pummelled like they are the ones making commercial decisions.
They do the hardware and the app - so they seem to me to be pretty diligent about those areas, but it must be hard to sit and get stung with things like the TGC delay, PG Delay and commercial decisions like price, GIP, etc.
Working...
