Perfect Golf (beta) for Skytrak

Perfect Golf might look like a great game but has way too many bugs, even for an early access game still under development. It has a very long way to go before it can be mentioned in the same sentence as TGC, E6, ProTee and Red Chain. There is no AI, no stats, no tournament play and online play servers crash frequently. It currently has 10 courses and no stable (commercially) released version.

Price is unknown, but keep in mind you will be buying a beta product.

Will someone send me all keyboard shortcuts for PG. I will create a remote keyboard layout for PG like I did for TGC. Thanks!

wilson Thanks for sending me the shortcuts. I will setup a new remote keyboard layout soon and post for everyone to use. I don't like to use the keyboard for sim play. Definitely prefer the nice touch screen for aiming and all the keys to control the game. Overall much better experience this way!

Can someone answer these questions about PG:

I'm using the Steam version with Keyboard/Mouse right now, looking at creating the Remote Keyboard layout.

The F Flyby key is not working. I click F on keyboard or click the Bird flyby icon and it does nothing. Why isn't flyby working?

Is there a keyboard mapped for a mulligan?

Is there a replay button?

I looked at the Controls but don't see mulligan there to map???

Now when you update PG if you have a 64bit machine it should download the 64bit version of the game

New Ball Roll Physics
We have finally fixed the bug where the ball was not rotating at the same speed as the ball was moving. We have also added a logo to the ball.

All New On Course Practice Mode
We have finally added a new MOP called Practice( change Stroke, Match etc to PRactice). In this mode you get two new buttons in the bottom left of the screen. The Ball Icon once clicked will allow you to move the ball anywhere on the screen or even in the top view and your next shot will be from that position. works just like the aim stick
In addition there is a practice icon which gives you the opportunity to go to any hole on the course or change the wind speed and direction

Added a Simulator offset to allow Sim users to not have the ball in the center of the screen -> sim_SideOffset can be set in console pre game. + moves ball to left - to right of screen.
Added MatchPlay, and Team Events to the API Tournament Score Reporting
Added Display of all golfer balls on top view
Added a feature to allow non tournmanent players to play on a local game with a tournament player with only the tournament players scores being reported. First player in game should report
Added elevation to the yardage listed beside players on the left
Modified the setting in Players for the auto green grid. You now have 3 options "Always On" , "Always Off" and "On Green Only"
Added Lie to Post Shot

Simulator Improvements (Please Note all simulation options may not work without appropriate beta access from Manufacturer)
Putting and Simulation Mode for Trackman 4
Putting for Skytrak has been toned down in terms of horizontal error
Added integration
Split the Simulator UI Device selection out from main device leaving a generic sim device and sub devices

I did a video of playing Perfect Golf on the GC2. I realize this is the Skytrak thread but a lot of people have asked me to do a video of Perfect Golf. The quality isn't great as I can't use my normal software. I hope to get that fixed up before my next round.

It looks like the 64-bit version of PG has just been released, so waiting for that to come out should not hold up the release of the ST integration. I'm assuming that SkyGolf just needs to set up and activate the PG subscription purchase link on the ST website.

SkyTrak_Seth it's time to open this up. You have a bunch of users who have been playing this game for months now. It's stable enough that they have a fully functioning tour as well as a ryder cup event going on, for God's sake! These are not things that are done openly for everyone to see with a "beta" program that is not ready for prime time. The game designers have said publicly this is all on you for not opening it up. Make this happen and allow the rest of us that want to give you money to play it to be allowed to do so.

I've noticed that the latest version of PG includes some further updates on the settings for sim use. Not only can you select Skytrak or several other input systems, but you can also indicate how the input device is connected (e.g., USB, wi-fi, etc.). I'm not sure what the effects of these settings are - does anyone know whether they help maintain a stable wi-fi or USB connection when using the ST?

Word has it - that this can be placed on a 2nd screen to allow ball data to constantly be available.

Back when PerfectParallel published the page with the season pass subscriptions it indicated that you had to add funds to your Steam account in order to purchase the pass. I added these funds via Steam, but after returning to the PerfectParallel site and clicking on the Activate Pass button nothing happened. Now it appears that the purchase for the annual subscription for PG and Skytrak needs to be done through the Skygolf site.

Now I am stuck with a $250 balance on my Steam account that is unusable for PG. I requested a refund through Steam but was denied. Does anyone have experience or ideas that would help me get my money back? The only thing I can think of is going through my bank and requesting a chargeback.

You have 60 days to dispute the transaction. Dont think about it too long.
