My skylark was working fine. Then suddenly the software starts hanging up.. Big delays while the ball is in the air. Then it restarts then delays again. I have tried uninstalling the software and reinstalling. Seems like sync never syncs. The interface seems buggy.. I have to tap several times on the screen to go from app to settings. Works fine in direct mode. My internet is very fast so that can't be it. Also works fine with WGT. Problem points to sky golf server maybe???

Yes, you have our attention. By spamming facebook and twitter, you are certainly able to get our attention, but understand that this pulls us away from other matters. Also, by bypassing the proper channels, the support process is not improving. Don't take it wrong way, I know that any issues are a problem that require attention - especially when you have paid for a product and you rightly expect it to work as it should. However, we are an extremely small shop and I'm only able to prioritize one major issue at a time for our team. In this instance, this forum has made it abundantly clear that simulation is THE priority, particularly TGC. We have made huge strides in the last few weeks/days with our sim partners and even managed to maintain headway towards our next release, but I'm not going to begin to get into details with that because it's not in the clear path to completion.
You have to understand that I only have (relatively) immediate control over the SkyTrak application. I've been able to take your feedback, weigh it, and fit it into the releases as I can. But the data sync issues involve a larger party and are not as easily remedied, especially when the problem is as intermittent as this. It's perplexing to all of us here. But I will do whatever I can to have our app development team and SkyGolf 360's team work to see where the issue is with syncing data prior to our next release.
Please, first report all issues to customer support. Trust me, we are getting the feedback from them and they are doing a great job at escalating issues.
Next, I am personally going to be completely swamped leading up to the PGA show, so my time here will be very limited. I understand where the issues are, and take the fact that I am not present to mean that I am working fervently to get them resolved.

Not trying to belittle you at all. If you've followed all the threads, which I'm sure you have, you'll see that there have been several instances where we thought the issue was resolved, yet it still keeps creeping back in. There are plenty (read thousands) of customers that are syncing data fine. I don't understand why you say I refuse to admit that it is an issue...I just posted above that I would work with all involved parties to get to the bottom of it. I even posted again below that we just added a new resource dedicated to this particular issue. It's not cut and dry and involves a lot of parties.
A company facebook page is not a customer support page. When you call on an uprising of the masses to flood the page with stuff like this, I do consider it spamming. That isn't saying I disagree with your frustration or the fact that it should be fixed. All I ask is that you go through the proper channel. We are working to improve the customer service area and that information is getting to us.
We get a lot of messages on Facebook. I came back here because I was at a point to come back here. Your issue was what happened to be in front of me at the time.
Finally...I agree the customer is always right. BUT, if you think we are maliciously charging everyone for something that doesn't work, then you are gravely mistaken. It's an issue. I am working to fix it.

Seth, I know you're busy and this forum is and rightfully should be low on your list of priorities as we do not want to detract you in any way from your work in making ST better for all. But you're also kinda like the village god here you know? So your appearance here once in a while really goes a long way in appeasing the villagers when we get a bit restless. So thank you. Now go knock them dead at the PGA show and show us all that ST is better than ES16 or even GC2.

Well said ernie, I just want my SkyTrak to work as advertised. At the very least should extend the GIP for those of us that have paid for it and it still does not Sync. It's just the right the thing to do. I am interested in finding out how many people on the forum have sync issues? When I bought my SkyTrak, it did not advertise being a simulator, but I was sold a GIP. Fix that first.

Again, Thank you. Except for the Sync issue, I like my Sky Trak. I understand that you care about your product, and I appreciate all of your support. I've had the unit for eight months and it syncs on again and off again. Now its been just off again. Then Sky Golf sends me a coupon to upgrade for $99.00 to extend my GIP. a savings of $100.00? To add more SW with issues? So yeah a working GIP for a year that I paid for is not too much to ask. By your again, comment I feel you might be frustrated with some of us. I am too, after working for hours and then losing data.
