My skylark was working fine. Then suddenly the software starts hanging up.. Big delays while the ball is in the air. Then it restarts then delays again. I have tried uninstalling the software and reinstalling. Seems like sync never syncs. The interface seems buggy.. I have to tap several times on the screen to go from app to settings. Works fine in direct mode. My internet is very fast so that can't be it. Also works fine with WGT. Problem points to sky golf server maybe???

Nah, just saying hold tight. I do come through on my word, and I will make it right for you guys who have had issues...but I can't do it now while the problem persists. -
Sync isn't a big deal for me, but I pre ordered so I've had mine from the beginning and haven't had a session sync since February 2015Comment

I too have had an on again off again relationship with syncing--sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn't. Since syncing has not been reliable I now email my session to myself-this, at least for now, has provided me with an acceptable work around.Comment

I really do think this Skytrak unit has a mind of it's own!!
As my posts above, take it to the range & it doesn't sync once you're back home. BUT, I've been to the range tonight & it has sync'd some data BUT NOT WHAT I WANT!
Hit 100 balls & none of them have sync'd. Then had 50 using the Nearest the Pin challenge with my son & it's sync'd 18 of those shots.
Stupid though, that it sync's them as Driver as you can't specify which club your hitting. Really throws the data.
We'll get it sorted soon 😡💤💤

My sync issue is becoming more of an issue now, I think.
It's not taking a long time to register the shots and I've had multiple times where the red light which shows that it's processing never comes back green and it won't register anymore shots!
I've tried re-starting the app and re-installing the software.Comment

I don't often look at my SkyGolf360 account but decided to look tonight.
Previous synchs seem to have disappeared that were previously logged? I messed around with 4 different clubs but only one shows up on the 360 account? SkyTrak showed it was synching while hitting balls but something is not right.

Bought mine 11.11.2014. Data sync only worked Sept. 2015 for me. Seth told me they are working on it and I absolutely believe him. Love the unit.

Ok tried to outsmart the system by:
- while at home, turned on ST and open app on my iPhone 6 and connect (and sync) successfully using network mode using home wifi network;
- then while still at home, successfully connect using direct mode;
- left both ST and iPhone on (even turned auto lock on iPhone to 'never' so app stays on and connected to ST via direct mode);
- drive to range and hit some balls using ST still connected to iPhone 6 via direct mode;
- after session, left both ST and app on and still connected via direct mode and drove home;
- once back at home, changed back to network mode using home wifi hoping it will sync
Well it did not sync =( went into endless WAITING TO SYNC... loop forever again. And of course now network mode sessions on my iPhone will not sync either (until I uninstall and reinstall app). So gonna leave it alone (sick of uninstalling and reinstalling all the time) as my iPad Mini 2 which I have never used in direct mode since last update still syncs.

Yea, Ive learned to NOT go into direct mode at all. It seems to really confuse things. it works best when you stay in network mode and stay logged in, but the issue there is the UI is slow and stutters. I've had some luck in staying in network mode, but, while the unit is connecting, I manually log out (cuz otherwise it auto-logs in). it won't sync, but I really don't care as much about skygolf stats as I do with it just working. However, being in network mode logged off seems to cause the situation where it stops registering shots after maybe 20-30.

After many sessions with good syncing mine quit syncing again. I quit the network mode altogether and use direct mode only now. Somebody please Let me know when I can use my WGT that I paid 100 for, never againComment

Oh well, I look forward to getting my advanced package back. Personally I love my ST, it's pretty accurate and I don't seem to need it to be perfectly straight to get useful data. As for sim, like others I bought mine as a launch monitor but a nice sim that isn't overly expensive would be great. If ST is looking for an idea here's two: a head monitoring device similar to GC2 and an app to link current weather to ST.
Btw: for some reason and even though I write all of my passwords down, mine is only recognised every now and again on the website. So much so that I don't bother going there anymore. But to me that's no big deal.Comment

They've got to make profit. GC2 HMT is more than he GC2 itself, is it not? If they could make a HMT for £1K or $1.5K I would be interested for sure. Can you imagine HMT, Skytrak & SkyPro working in harmony, that would be game changing for sure. I know they have a small team and are behind on other issues. But when these get resolved these would be potentially profitable areas to get into. -
If want good accurate low price HMT for ST, talk to Rapsodo not SkyTrak/SkyGolf.
