Thanks for the continued great feedback!! We are still wrapping up some final tweaks and I'm about to head on vacation (great timing), so we are still a bit out for official release. However, if you would like to try it on iPad, please send me a PM and I will issue you a promo code to download the iOS pre-release from the App Store.
SkyTrak PC v2.5 Pre-Release

SkyTrak_Seth This may or may not have been discussed before but is there a camera offset that can be considered? I can't be the only one that has their projector slightly off center from their screen. Me being a righty I tend to move far right on my mat and screen to allow for an unhindered swing path. TGC allows me to make the adjustment so I can line things up perfectly but I don't think the Skytrak app has it. Please have the team consider this functionality.
Thanks!

Sorry may be a dumb question: But how does one download a pre-release app from the App Store on the iPad? Thanks.

I had a chance to give the iOS pre release app for 2.5 a go last night. Seth. Thanks for the promo code. Installed on Ipad Air 2. Didn't even know that was a thing. Impressive app. I had zero issues with anything. Love the added features. I had been calculating my own PTI score in Excel so that is a bonus.Descent angle & height are informative. I hit most of my shots outside with Skytrak so seeing the actual flight of the shot with all of data side by side is great feedback. We have quite a gizmo here!!!! Please keep up the great work. Can't wait to see what comes next.

Hi Seth! here you are something VERY IMPORTANT to fix in the new relaease... please add support for metric system measures (km/h, meters) in the challenges, skills, etc. It is very akward to convert all the parameters on the go... THANKS!

Hi Seth.. skill assessment is huge step towards score improvement and shows skytrak commitment towards constant improvements,, would be even better if you could save the challenges as a preset.. if the next shot could be randomly selected and not the same club. Also in the ST practice range the minimum distance needs to be 10 yards.. just like the skills assessment..That will help a ton in chipping.
Also only if the previous results can be viewed in a more graphical manner showing improvements in dynamic handicap etc..
PS.. A work around almost golf balls can be adding wind speeds to cover the loss of distance

Hello.. The Skills Assessment Feature is great. I agree with the min distance to place green to be 10 yards. I would love to be able to define a range (ex: 35-75 yards) and have random #'s generated and scored like skill assessment.. It would be great down the road to have an easy way to compare distances over different sessions. So at 35 yards on Monday I was a 12 and on Wednesday I was a 15. Just some thoughts. Love the progress.

Great work on the skills assessment, this is exactly what I have been looking for, I was tracking my progress with greens hit before with a whiteboard in my hitting area but this is by far more advanced way of tracking my progress.
Smash factor is a little whacked I think, I can pretty much hit the ball anywhere on the face of my driver and never see it below 1.42 and on other systems I can get it below 1 by doing the same.
I also noticed the peak height to be miss calculating quite a bit on higher spinning wedge shots, as in showing 20yards when I know its over 35.
I also had several shots registering higher club head speed than ball speed on well struck shots, im not sure what that was all about. I know on a topped shot or a sky'ed shot that would be possible but these were decent struck Sand Wedge shots. I know I don't swing me wedge 90mph either lol. Ill attach one I exportedAttached Files

Do you have a handicap by club or by distance? Or is it just an overall handicap. I think a graph of average distance to pin by distance should be graphed and compared to tour averages available online. Hopefully the dynamic handicap is taking this into account and let's you know how good you at various distances. Keep up the good work!
(and hurry up and release it on iOS so I can use it)

but here is the scenario...
hit it a few shots on the driving range...
then decide to set up a practice green to hit to...
once the the green is setup, I return to the driving range and ...
i hit hit the replay button. Which replays the last shot I did before I setup the practice green. The replay works, but the whole thing freezes after the ball lands in the replay screen. The laser dot from skytrak is still lit up on the hitting mat. I've tried hitting another ball, but it doesn't rest the screen back to the normal driving range.
i have to quit out of skytrak by clicking on the cross in the top right corner of the screen. Then turn skytrak off and back on again. Then start up skytrak and log back in again and then everything is working again.
Thanks Seth. The only reason I did this was because of the issue with Yards and Metres. The practice greens when setting up were being measured in Yards. But when returning to the driving range, the same number appeared, it was just stated in Metres instead. there was no re-calculation of the distance. That is, in the practice green setup, I would select a 100 yard green, knowing in metres this is 90metres. Back on the driving range, the stated distance of the green was 100 M. But when I hit shots that went 100 metres, they would go over the back of the green. So clearly, the Y for yards was simply change to a M for metres without actually recalculating the proper distance. Hence I replayed a previous 100m shot to see where it would land and then if it was long or short, I would then go back into the practice green setup and change the distance in there. That's why I did the replay.
