I have JNPG and am wondering if the putting/ chipping is better in TGC or E6. I have a really hard time judging the chipping and putting in JNPG and was hoping TGC was a decent amount better to justify the price. Thanks for the advice.

Sledge, You can set up the speeds of the greens in TGC settings. I have mine set to match my 3 favorite real life courses.

Sledge0001 - Can you tell me how make these adjustments? I apologize for most likely asking a question that has been answered many times.
I can't seem to make a putt right now in TGC. I was making putts at first and now it seems that there isn't a hole there. Very frustrating. Looking to see if I've got some bad settings.

For what it's worth, I believe the chipping/putting is very accurate in JNPG. I have not tried TGC but I can't imagine it being much different if it is accurate. I believe the difficult part comes from normally we don't use yardage/feet mark offs. It is much more about what we see and adjust based on that vs. on a fairway shot, we get our distance and pick our club. Could just be me though.

I am having a tough time getting the Skytrak sensor to observe soft chips, pitches or flops. I am only using the Skytrak's practice range and have not yet purchased any simulation software. I was wondering how one plays simulation golf when those types of shots are not registered. Is it just the practice range and the unit works better in the simulation software or is there something else going on?

Couple quick things to check.
I have no issues with soft chips or flops. Flops have registered as high as 53* LA from memory.
Is your ST level with the your hitting mat?
Is your ST on the hitting mat? I have mine separate on a base.
With flops try the ball position farther up in your stance in relation to the red dot.
With chips try the ball position farther back in your stance in relation to the red dot.
