We just shipped our 527th (and last) case and wanted to thank everyone that participated over the last six-months. it's been and incredible father-son adventure with my 12-year-old and an absolutely invaluable learning experience for him. However, it's time to get back to running my business (pbasics.com) and leave the fight-monitor case sales to the experts at SkyTrak.

SkyTrack has recently launched their own case and it looks great. It's beefy at close to an 1/8 inch of steel and it's been thoroughly tested with the benefit of actually knowing the workings of the Skytrak's cameras, trigger, flash and wifi systems. You can see the LEDs from everywhere, the usb connection is protected, and there's a handle which also catches stray rebounds.

In short - it's "official" and backed by SkyTrak.

Sorry to bring up an old post but I haven't been on this forum for a while and I'm just catching up....

Wasn't FMJ (Full Metal Jacket) your name for the product? Surely you're getting some kind of royalties from SkyTrak for using both your name and your design?

Finally had a chance to finish a prototype of my SkyTrak protection. (I had my last unit take a ball to the IR lens while IN the protective case from SkyTrak - it didn't work again.)

Being lucky enough to own a business with a good bit of sheet metal equipment, and finally the time. (having a party this weekend and need to protect my unit!) The leveling feet need a bit wider spacing, and I need to test that the unit still reads shots. I went with a minimum of openings to try to keep balls from sneaking through the front. I popped off the IR lens so that it's easy to see the parts that need to "see" - I'll obviously be putting it on before testing. Still unsure if I'll screw the unit to the base and leave an air gap, or use foam on 5 sides to isolate the SkyTrak from the steel.

I added a lip in the front so I can drop an alignment rod in for a visual reference.

Holes on bottom need adjustment, and maybe slotting to allow the SkyTrak to be adjusted to the base for alignment.

I realize you have some older posts and an "official" FMJ case is available, but do you have any Skytrak cases that you have designed personally still available for sale? I ask since I am not satisfied with any cases containing prongs in the window of the case.
