TGC for TrackMan 4

Not really sure what todo with Trackman sending incomplete data, like missing spin. Not launching at all might feel strange when you run TGC full screen and have no quick access to the TPS data. Any idea how E6 is handling this?-
So I checked E6 and they just ignore the shot whenever the backspin data is missing. Every other shot that has backspin available but some other data missing is being executed. Tested it a few times and every shot counts unless backspin is missing. -

One thing. I really dislike that they do not have any feedback. It would be nice to at least have the software tell you that the shot could not be tracked. I mean they still are getting the data, it is just missing the backspin and due to that they could have given you an ACK that they received it but it won't count.

Putting works fine so far. No backspin anymore! Once I play 18 I will be able to see if there are any issues.
I did encounter an issue after a couple of putts. TrackMan did not measure ball speed or club speed, but some other data. The result was a really long putt
Check the screenshot. I guess that falls into the same category of when to not count a shot / putt.

Are there any further / new updates?
I played a few more rounds and have only encountered one bug. Didn't really mention it yet because I don't see a pattern. Sometimes the spin rate gets stuck in TGC on 2222 and just stays like that for several shots. TPS shows the actual spin rate and TGC shows 2222. I will take screenshots the next time I encounter it. Right now I don't see how to replicate it. It looks like it just happens randomly.
I had my son and my wife also use the system. I played with them many times and I can say that it cannot get more realistic, except of going out on the course. If I have them play a hole it 99% reflects how they play on a real course. TGC + TrackMan is so far amazing.
Although I was wondering about the tee boxes. I wish I could play with my family and have them on the appropriate tee boxes. Am I right, that all the courses only have one type of tee box or am I missing something?Comment

The 2222 backspin is a fallback when TGC receives a backspin less or equal to 0, while a normal ball speed is received. Check backspin in TPS for 0 or a negative value.

Alright so I am just playing a round to test some more and got the 2222 backspin again and TPS is showing a backspin of 6387. I attached a screenshot.Attached FilesComment

This is a tricky one. Looks like TPS is displaying the correct backspin, but not sending it. Will ask Trackman devs to have a look.

Probably 100 shots in, this morning, and I am very confused what could cause the 2222 backspin. I thought I figured out what triggers it but one of my last shots completely destroyed that logic. I am not going into detail, bottom line is that towards the end I thought it was a mix of high ball speed, high smash factor, out-to-in path and a steep attack angle of more than -3 or lower.
I can tell you it is a pain to replicate all those numbers and on top of that keep most of them the same and only change the attack angle or club path or whatever value you want to change for wanna be debugging. I tried to change face to path while keeping the others the same and so on. At least it was a good practice session! Obviously it will be easier for the developers to just run the numbers in TGC and see what the calculation does in a debugger.
Well I attached some more screenshots and you will think you see a pattern and after you check the screenshot with the _normal in its name, you will see that the patterns you discovered are destroyed by that one shot.Comment

Alright, so I am trying to play a round and I keep on getting that backspin issue. So I keep on changing the clubs and vary my swing speeds, club paths and so on. Nothing changes it keeps on saying that the backspin is 2222, even though TPS shows normal numbers. And suddenly I remembered that the same thing happened to me while I was inside a fairway sand-trap. I changed clubs and so on, but it kept on saying that my backspin is 2222.
Wanted to let you know that it maybe also has something to do from where the shot is being done (for whatever reason). Just trying to give you as many information as I can find.

Rangegolfer noticed in the logs you sent that TPS is sending backspin with one decimal. TGC expects backspin to be a rounded positive integer. Will report this to Trackman. Should be an easy fix. Thanks!Comment

Trackman will release a new installer soon, which includes all the latest changes. Hopefully next week.Comment

After testing on 5.1.94, I'm still seeing a pretty serious putting issue where I barely tap the ball and it takes off after rolling about 6 feet. Makes putting impossible. Is anyone else seeing this?Comment
