My understanding from the merchandise show is that e6 golf has a completely new system called - e6 Connect which is a major upgrade and now has a cloud based monthly service - does anyone have any more details on this or a release date for this? Will current subscribers be able to upgrade for free then incur the monthly fee?

According to the salesperson at Trugolf, it has a scheduled release date of March 19th. That can easily change though and the release will not have all of the courses converted over at that time.

Wow so about 2 weeks out and nothing has come out since January. I'd love to see some new footage or hear some more news about the product.

Agreed! I spoke with Josh, who seems to be in charge of the pricing structure. Since I said I have all the courses already, he said he would waive the initial $2500, but I would need to do maybe two years of subscription. Works fine for me, but is way too expensive for someone looking for something like TGC & JNPG with online tournaments. I kind of got the impression that it was still on track, but that could change. Besides, why would one pay $600/year for access to all courses when 20 or so might be ready initially.

Yep, not really a great marketing job, but perhaps are keeping the commercial customers informed better. I do believe the price will be about 30 to 40 bucks a month and a one time fee of 2500.

So I just heard from e6 sales rep and that just threw a wrench on my face.
I remember seeing a person on YouTube and people talking about getting hefty discounts for existing e6 1.6 users if they were to subscribe into a multi-year subscription, possibly even free upgrade to e6 connect. When I got my e6 1.6 last year, I remember them telling me about the loyalty upgrade so I should buy it before e6 connect comes out.
And this rep just told me that nothing is included other than from $2500 to $1500 and that one year of basic subscription is included.
More importantly, he told me his software is day and night difference and no other companies come close. Sales tactics with talking positive things only never works to be honest. It’s not 1950 anymore as people are not dumb anymore to research online.
I’ve been very positive about e6 until today but i see that it’s a very dissapointing move. I look forward to seeing TGC2019 as online mode is crap on e6.
I might probably consider if e6 connect goes on sale, but until then very unlikely.Last edited by LEO MODE; 03-14-2018, 09:39 PM.
