Well feburary 1st is gone. Last year a the PGA show they demo e6 connect so it has been a year plus. I think it is out for trackman, flightscope and their own simulator. since trackman has JNPG not sure what anyone would spend to get e6 with the trackman unless JNPG with the trackman is also 2500.

Does anyone know if e6 Connect works for a GC2? I see on their site they have e6 Connect available for purchase or yearly subscription. I submitted a question to them asking this on their website. It has been 6 or more days and have not heard a response. This does not sit well with me as a potential customer. Their support has failed for me on my first inquiry with them. Not a good start to win me over. I'm still loving my TGC1.

Sales rep say that GC2 integration is not planned.
They also say that Protee is planned and that there are no reason that the same tweak (that allows GC2 user to play E6 through Protee interface) won't work.
They say that Protee is at the end of their to-do list...

Actually, I believe it's a up-front purchase cost plus an (optional) subscription if you want any of the online services or added content (more courses than the original 20 something). I may have missed it but I didn't see a subscription only price for e6 connect.Originally posted by Mike80 View PostI see on their site they have e6 Connect available for purchase or yearly subscription.
Did you just send an e-mail (or contact us page) or use their support portal? https://e6golf.assist.com/portal/incidents/newOriginally posted by Mike80 View PostI submitted a question to them asking this on their website. Primary support is managed through the portal (or by phone), not the other methods. You don't even need to be an active customer to set up an account on the portal.
As far as actual product support I've usually got a response in the same day when submitting questions through the support portal. I think their e6 connect pricing policy is horrible - but I've actually been very impressed with their product support team and system.Last edited by StuartG; 02-07-2019, 01:17 PM.

Not sure who you were asking - but if it was me - I don't have Connect, I'm using e6 1.6 and currently have no plans to upgrade.Originally posted by Gazpacho View PostWhat is the E6 Connect pricing model for your system.also, can you compare it to e6 1.6

For Skytrak, I personally think they will have to price this similar to 1.6, either a $299 subscription p.a. (maybe some custom package) or the purchase ($1800 for 1.6 is steep), otherwise it’s dead in the water. I’m sure there will be some takers, but it will be limited. Especially when you can get TGC for$795 or CG3D for less. TGC nailed the model and must be killing it on Skytrak.
I’m a 1.6 user so I’m really curious how Connect impacts that package?
Replaces or co-exists?
These questions I guess will be answered in due course, either way I’m really happy to see all the continued development and choices, you can’t go wrong with Skytrak. Some good choices/decision points to make later in the year when my 1.6 expires.

As I understand it, it's a short term co-existence. Connect is not quite as full featured as they want it, particularly with respect to sensor support and the number of courses available. But while 1.6 is still being actively sold, development in it has stopped completely so don't expect any changes there.Originally posted by Alphaseekr View PostI’m a 1.6 user so I’m really curious how Connect impacts that package?

FWIW, I don't disagree at all with the pricing complaints and also think it will have little hold for the Skytrack market. The fact that Skytrack forces you to pay a subscription fee just to use other companies simulation software doesn't help either and just compounds the problem.
TruGolf has always really seemed to focus on the higher end market and not the budget conscious. At one point in time, their product was far enough above the capabilities of the competitors to possibly warrant a higher price tag - but that's not really the case any more.Last edited by StuartG; 02-07-2019, 04:12 PM.
