  • Thanks for the input and the link to the comparison. Looks like it may just be better to start from scratch.

      • Great find. You have a REALLY good deal here. That should work fine. You save $367 + shipping.

Downside is the Sept 22 shipping date, but if you're not in hurry go for it.

        • Do you think I will have an issues with running TGC or E6? What about quality of the graphics on a impact screen?

          Comment

          • Should work great. Projection quality depends on your projector and projection screen. This will never be the same quality as you see in home theaters, because that type of screen material will not work with 150 mph shots. Impact screens will always have some sort of "open" structure. The GTX 970 should have no issue cloning 1080p to a monitor and projector.

            • do you think I can get something better or same for a cheaper price?

              • I would go for it, the 970 is overkill for e6, which does not need the horsepower like TGC. Great find on the computer!

Probably not. That GTX970 4GB card by itself is already $320+.

                  • Can I download TGC PC software now in anticipation for Skytrak? Or will it be different software?

                    • ryanoneill1 The Golf Club for Steam, XBOX or PS4 will not work with Skytrak. Do buy a copy and have some fun while waiting...

                      • Has anyone checked out the new gtx 950 card priced about 150-160? Saw it listed on gamespot a few days ago as a middle of the road card for people who play mobs etc

                        • Is there enough newer used stuff out there to justify trying to build a gaming PC with less costly used parts?

                          • I am going with a pre-made unit from Acer through Amazon for $1299 with keyboard and Mouse. They seem to be inline with what works. Any thoughts?
