  • Bama Gambler Golf Club - my sim project

I've had a net return plus skytrak for about 6 months. I decide to start small to make sure I would actually hit balls at home. I love it! Time to upgrade. I'll post my progress in this thread.

Here is my net return setup.

Hanging my speakers for surround sound. I had these leftover from an upgrade to my home theater.

Got my underlay and turf in today. Turf is 15'x14'. Cost was about $1000 each.

Preston at Par2Pro has been helping me out. He's very good at answering all my questions. I'm glad I used them for my order. Can't wait to get the custom enclosure and HQ screen.

Mini split ac unit going in today. Just in time as I'm sure things will be heating up very soon.

Is that AC unit just for the garage and is it completely standalone? About how many sq feet is it good for? Approximate cost?

I'm also curious about this. My end goal is to have a minisplit installed, probably will have to wait for next year though.

Yes it is just for garage and it is stand alone. Cost me $4200 installed. That ain't cheap, but I just played my first round and it was nice and cool in the garage. My garage is about 900 sq ft. The one I have is a Lennox wall mount 2 ton. I also got a quote on a Mitsubishi, but it was more like $9000.

Does it do heat also? I'd be OK with that cost if it does both AC and heat.
