Hi Daniel,
Really appreciate the update and all you do to supply the screen material.
I can wait until January, I am still working on building out the space for the sim. I originally sent sent $350 which became $339.55 on 10/24 and then followed up with $10.45 on 11/4 to get 20'x10'. If that is not enough, I will make up the difference.

We will do another run. It takes a long time to knit this fabric so we'll probably receive the next shipment in January. As many of you probably have noticed this is too much to handle effectively through this thread. We will have a website shortly where people can put orders and pay online. We will ship the fabric ourselves and include shipping in the price. The thread will remain for comments regarding quality and or improvements we can make to the material. The cost of the material is still the same and therefore the price will remain the same. Looking to organize this process and keep our community supplied.

Hi all - received my screen. Thanks so much!!! Has anyone confirmed how to identify which is the front and which is the back? My guess is that the screen is folded to protect the front of the screen. Can anyone please confirm? Thanks!

Now for bad news. One of the reasons it took me so long to respond here is because the last rolls I had were not clean. I had a lot of work to do to find what sizes we could cut. Here are the results:

Klint Flint your 12 foot piece is not 12 x 10. it is 12 x 9 ft 9 inches. If this works for you its ready to go send me a label. If it doesn't I am happy to send your money back or you can wait until January when I receive the next shipment. Please let me know.

I dont have fabric for you in clean 10 ft wide sections. Here is what I can cut that is clean:

15 x 8
15 x 9
14 x 8
9 x 10
9.5 x 10
9 x 13
8 x 23 (can prob cut this into two screens)

If you guys want any of these I am happy to adjust the price to reflect the reduced square footage and if you don't want it I understand and will be happy to refund your payment unless you want to wait until January. I will wait to hear from you guys before offering these to everyone.

Daniel - I just wanted to say thank you, again! My screen is up and mounted, and the quality is incredible. I had been using a Carl’s preferred screen, and the image on your screen is much more clear. My Carl’s screen is now hanging behind your screen, so the balls hit both screens, bounce a few feet, and then roll to the side perfectly. I couldn’t be happier. Thanks for all your effort - and good luck with the new website!

Received my screen thanks Daniel. Now need some guidance from others. I'm attaching it to a sportsscreen. I'm trying to figure out if I have to find a seamstress to sew the velcro on the screen to match what is on the sportsscreen, or is there an epoxy/glue or something that won't bleed through that will allow me to secure the velcro to the Mill screen? I'm also considering just testing it by rolling a full 1' of the screen up with the sports screen, without attaching it, so the roller holds the screen (have 10' screen, only need a bit under 9', so that may work.

Anyhow, suggestions , warnings etc?

I am using the direct from mill screen with a Sportscreen. I use industrial strength velcro to attach the mill screen to the Sportscreen. I use this:

It matters that you get the industrial strength type. It bonds better. I stick the flatter side directly to the black sportscreen material and then attach the furry side of the velcro to the back of the impact screen. The velcro will not stick to the impact screen on its own but if you add some CA glue (superglue) to the back of the velcro, it will stick very very well.

I've had no problems mounting 2 different impact screens this way. Good luck!

I used adhesive Velcro to put on the screen. It didn’t hold well but I only needed it to hold long enough to be able to wrap it once around the pipe. It worked fine enough and never had an issue staying in place.

I did the exact same thing. The Velcro doesn’t stick too well to the screen itself because the Velcro is holding tighter to itself than the glue to the screen.

But like Bond has said, just being able to get 3/4 of a rotation is all that’s needed. Friction and gravity do the rest.

In this picture are your tarp clips zip tied to the emt frame ? Also I see a bungee between the tarp clips that looks to go behind your screen, is that holding a net or something behind your screen?

Kevin_82 yeah I didn't pay attention, on this side it is zip tide, on the opposite side and top it's bungeed. There is a net behind the screen that is bungeed in place as well.
