I purchased a matt from DW Quail about a year ago, and there are a lot of positives with this matt, in fact I may buy another one (https://www.dwquailgolf.com/). The feel of this turf is the closest to real turf that I have ever experienced. Compare this matt to what you see on a driving range, and there is no comparison.
The only complaint that I have is that when standing on my matt, if I am barefoot or in my socks, it seems to make a permanent impression in the matt. When I have my golf shoes on, the weight is more evenly distributed and that does not seem to be an issue. Yeah, I'm a big boy (6'5" 280 lbs), but I would think that a matt would be able to withstand the pressure.
I have seen people talk about Wittek Quatro as well as Fiberbuilt grass series with positive feedback. Does anyone have an opinion on the best matt on the market?
