The CEO sent an email recently stating that they are still on track to deliver to the projected shipping times, even with all the uncertainties going on.

Can’t imagine when I will see a replacement. Ordered Jan 28th. Received on March 7th. Returned today because of the possibility of faulty unit. Ugh 😫

Flightscope just sent out an email that South Africa is on lockdown for 21 days and will reopen on 4/17/2020 (see below).
"Dear Valued FlightScope Customer,
With Covid-19 continuing to impact people and countries around the world, the health, safety and the well-being of our family, employees and community are paramount. We continue to monitor and adhere to all the information provided by the CDC, as well as national and state governments.
South Africa has been placed on a 21-day lockdown, barring any non-essential businesses from continuing operations. As a result, our production facility will be shut down which unfortunately prohibits us from manufacturing and shipping FlightScope Mevo+ units during this period. The lockdown in South Africa is scheduled to end on April 17, 2020.
While this news is frustrating, it is also temporary and we are proactively gearing up for production and shipments as soon as this lockdown period is over. We will continue to update you as best we can with estimated delivery dates as more information comes in. Please be assured that your order will ship in the order it was received.
Once again, we want to thank you for your understanding and patience as we all manage our way through this unexpected challenge. Please know that our sales and support teams in the United States and South Africa will continue to work remotely during this time. If you have any additional questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Sincerely,
The Global FlightScope Team"

Speaking to Flightscope today - sounds like they may have some inventory arriving from before the shut down, so some of the pending orders may still be filled over the next few weeks on schedule.

I hope you're right about this! I am on that facebook Mevo+ user group and Daniel from FS said that a few weeks ago some orders from 2/17 were shipped out to the customer. I ordered 2/18 and was in the next shipment that comes in. He also said mine was already made and waiting to be shipped from SA. I still have yet to receive that email about the delay.Last edited by jvh42; 03-31-2020, 02:27 PM.

Sounds like there is only one thing left to do...hop on a plane to South Africa and pickup that pallet from the factory ourselves!

This wait is brutal. Everyday I keep thinking, I could be playing golf on my Mevo+ right now. For a bit I was debating getting the SkyTrak but really don't want the yearly subs. But now SkyTrak is delayed between mid-May to mid-June with deliveries. Crazy times.

Here is my email chain with RoS Golf as of 4/3

It is hard to speculate on anything at this point. In today's world with all that is going on there is very little that is certain. I do know that FlightScope is waiting on Chinese parts and they are back in the factories. FlightScope is currently closed until April 9th. The only launch monitors we have available right now are the ErnestSports ES12 and ES14. We have had a massive spike in volume due to the coronavirus outbreak. This is all the news I have and I hope things straighten out sooner than later. We wish we could offer partial refunds for Mevo+'s however with this being a industry wide backorder there is nothing we can really do about the situation.

Thanks John. I know you’re just the messenger for the manufacturer. Couple of questions :
1) How realistic is that time frame given uncertainty of South Africa lock down? How confident are they in hitting that time frame?
2) Are you hearing any information about partial refunds for those of us that are more delayed by 2 months?
3) What other alternatives do I have that you would recommend to get monitor faster?
Thanks for the communication,
Jake

Jake,
Unfortunately we have gotten some bad news. They have been delayed until Mid-May for shipment due to the coronavirus outbreak. Please let me know how I can assist.

@JakeGeezy
I ordered direct thru FS so I'll have to check in with them soon. Maybe RoS batch is pushed out to Mid-May. Last info I got was that mine was made already and literally couldn't get out of SA because of the lockdown. So hopefully mine can ship after the lockdown is lifted. I'm glad you asked about some kind of refund because I think they really blundered the launch. I do understand about the virus shutting all things down but they did have units at the PGA show so those things were probably made in December and they just didn't anticipate the demand somehow.Last edited by jvh42; 04-09-2020, 03:11 PM.

Thanks man; hope you enjoy the unit. I asked my question wrong, I meant seeing online your order status, not tracking while shipping. Just kind of seeing something from Flightscope saying order xxxx has been processed. Expected shipping date 6/30 or so.

Guess you got lucky, I ordered on 2/18 in the USA, last info I got is because of the shutdowns in south Africa they can't get anything out. Supposedly an email is being sent out monday with more updates. I hope to get it since I didn't get the last one

I think they managed to get the shipment for European customers out before the lockdown. They distribute everything via Poland. Apparently the shipment to Poland arrived on Monday and was stuck in customs for a few days and now they are sending them out. I (based in Europe) ordered 2/24 and will recieve the unit on 4/15 (a bit late for the - back then - promised 3 weeks, but fair enough given the circumstances). I guess the US shipment just didn't make it out of South Africa in time.
Flightscope does not seem to be very good with order confirmations etc. I never recieved a confirmation stating the delivery address or anything else one expects these days (order number, expected shipment, carrier used, contact details, payment confirmation - really things that should be on a pro forma bill).Last edited by schurlette; 04-10-2020, 09:20 PM.

Awesome - great to hear you’ll be getting one before the lockdown. I ordered 2/25 so a day later with expected shipment April 10-17, so I guess the next week will confirm if there is anymore going to North America. Hopefully Flightscope will email all back ordered with best guess revised dates, so people can better decide what they want to do in the interim...Originally posted by schurlette View PostI think they managed to get the shipment for European customers out before the lockdown.
