I got FSX 2018 yesterday. I am very new to FSX, but I can say for sure the graphics difference from FSX to FSX 2018 is huge. I was not impressed with the graphics in the old version. I even own the expensive courses, and the graphics were marginal. FSX 2018 is a huge difference in the graphics quality! I would say the included courses graphics are about as good as TGC, and the expensive courses look even better than TGC. I am extremely impressed with the graphics quality with FSX 2018. I have not spent enough time to tell you about other features added or upgraded.

I'm staring to wonder the same. I guess they have until late June before spring is officially over. What concerns me is I'm not getting download links for these "New" 2018 courses. I can't really tell from the pics if they look all that different from the 1.9 versions. If anyone purchases any of these I'd love to hear was version the download is.

Should of called it FSX2019 to cover themselves. I lot of industry standard software is already in its 2019 cycle.... AUTOCAD 2019, Office 2019 (due June 2018), it seems to be the fashion, it makes the user feel like they need the greatest and latest (marketing).

Trust me when I say that software is an afterthought for Foresight. If it is not, then it is a pretty embarrassing effort on their part. They never got FSX fully developed so why think FSX 2018 will be any different. I think the new course packages are an attempt to get people who haven't upgraded to upgrade to FSX 2018 because supposedly the upgrade is necessary to play the courses. So the $375 Spring course looks good, but it actually comes out to $875 for those who haven't upgraded yet. As for those who already own the upgrade, and have the courses that are redone, which I bet they aren't, they should be getting the updated course for free as that is what Foresight told me in the beginning.

Last week I had a problem downloading a course and called technical support , prior to emailing me a new download I ask him about FSX 2018 and he stated it’s been pushed back at least 2 months so time will tell. Feeling sorry for the folks that paided $500 for a update that hasn’t come to fruition.Great product but poor execution servicing there customer base.

Foresight will never get another penny from me, they are a joke of a company. Once my gc2 wears out, I'll look at other launch monitors. I don't want to continue supporting a company that never meets deadlines, never delivers quality, and gleefully gouges their customers for items that should be free upgrades.

Dual monitor is there but it's clunky for me so far. I'm on 4K so that maybe causing an issue. I need to play with it more. The camera interface seems to work a little better with my IDS camera. Again, more testing needed. You can actually collapse the menu bar and it will give some stats on the left but basically full screens the course which is nice. Lots of options as to what is visible/hidden on the menu bar as well.

The dual screen works pretty well actually. I updated my nvidia drive and rebooted. Interestingly, the icon changed after this. You have quite a few option as to how you want to lay things out. I'm not sure what I'm going to do yet. You can set it up with nothing but the course on the screen which is nice but you have to check the other monitor to info. You can't do every possible scenario but quite a few.
Graphically I don't notice a difference so far from the initial FSX2018 release. The slope indicators seem to be broken or missing. All I can get is the grid on the greens. The manual suggest a "ball drop" option but I don't see that. I only checked out a few courses and I was getting some really strange ball flights. Super long distance with very low height. Not sure what to think of that, Quad data was correct. The range and practice modes didn't exhibit this. I'll have to do more testing.
I do like the new interface but right out the gate there are some things I'd like to see/change. If stability/functionality is important to you and you haven't updated yet you may want to wait until we some updates. If some other folks update I'd like to hear what they think of it.

Mine has crashed a good number of times, but that may be my own system and nothing else. 5e dual screen functionality works great, I agree.
The ball drop functionality was there on the last update as well, but it’s when you hit a ball out of bounds that you could drop wher t went out or retee/last location.
I’ve only played a little, but yes needs more. Wish you could rotate the swing cameras!

I’m going to try the dual monitor setup today but did play and loved the new layout. Courses were same graphics until updated. Once installed the version 2.x of Pebble I noticed much improved graphics. I still have plenty of complaints but happy to see some major feature updates finally rolling out.
