I had planned on waiting to get Play until more the bugs were worked out. However, I wanted to work on my wedges for the next couple months (until it's nice enough to play outside around here) and I wanted to try Pitch and Putt with the new graphics. I thought I would develop more patience as I got older. Nope!
Play definitely has lots of bugs, but the graphics are pretty impressive. It really does make FSX 2020 seem pre-school level in that regard.
I have a 1660 Ti graphics card and I've never really heard it make a peep before. Using FSX Play, the fan was spinning so hard that I thought the computer might fly off! I've got an upgraded card on order now. Oh well.
I'll probably use FSX 2020 for most everything but pitch and putt for a while, until more of the bugs get worked out, but when most everything is sorted this Play version is going to be amazing.
