Just trying to say that we will probably have more situations on our hands concerning "not accurate" distances than with guys who claim they can smash it 350y @ 140mph all day any day.
Anyone claiming over 110mph is almost certain to be asked to provide some sort of other proof of swing speed... same goes for anyone claiming to hit it close to 300yds.
Also... as english is a second (or in some cases third) language for me: I did not meen "you" per se. What I ment to say was "If one thinks one hits it 250 and actually one only hits it 226 then one should basically be playing at 89% instead of the 98% one thinks reflects reality."
I don't want to imply that someone is doing this, but it also opens the door for a short player to become an average hitter without it going noticed. Who is going to question someone with a 240yd average (but only averages 218 on the course in real life)?
This person is not even cheating at this point. I'm sure he thinks he's actually got the numbers right....
