Can we do 2 of the 6356 and one of the 6769.. These two are tested and very accurate and playable. Are there better versions this year? Anyone?
Perfect ! ! variety in the 6300 to 6900 seems to work for everyone, lets leave it at that......for now until there are multiple tees, and then there will be other problems ..lol

I say it again, I don't want it to split up. I want the group to live and grow. I want all handicaps to play under the same roof. Let's get on common ground and make it work for all.

Be careful before you break a very good thing...

I would suggest that some would be of the opposite opinion. Don't think it's quite that cut and dried.

Having both long and short courses is good. However, picking long courses and then having them with fairways as wide as a two lane roads, blocked greens or lots of forced carries is not good. When it's a long course, hopefully it will be a little more open than the ones we have played so far. I think it would be a little better if they were alternated it a little more. Seems like this season it would be a stretch of either long or short, getting killed 3-4 weeks in a row is not that much fun.

Gotta agree with you here. It's fun playing various length courses but the forced carries are no fun when you have to aim for the shortest carry distance which usually puts you in the trees and then have to come out sideways making the hole 100+ yards longer

Excellent points by all. Sometimes we are limited with our selections. For example KPC beta was the only Kapalua Plantation course to choose from. It was accurate and played very well, but very long. Our poll last year had accuracy the clear deciding factor when picking courses. Playability and length were close to each other in 2nd and 3rd. I personally love the fact that we play the same course ( when available) as the pros at the same time.

Not sure if the poll is still active but.....http://golfsimulatorforum.com/forum/...urse-selection

ya and I though KPC beta was one of the more fun events we've had in so far this year. Other than the fact that I didn't turn wind off and played it in 25mph winds!!

KPC is a good example. Long but open and playable. Others not so much. If we know a course is tight to begin with, maybe we should look at those being on the shorter/mid length size and if its more open then play a longer version.

Good point, sometimes we choose a different length just because we may have played that course a few months prior. KPC was a lot of fun for me because I have played there IRL. The recreation is incredible... even the elevation changes. We are currently working on the list for the next two tours. Unfortunately there will be plenty of filler courses added in because of the lack of accurate courses. Like Mississauga, the filler courses should be enjoyable for most.
        Working...
