  • Kids tour?

It would be really cool if we could start a kids tour. I would think that protee could differentiate tournaments, and therefore only apply recorded shots in a kids tournament to the kids.

it could be short courses and maybe just gimmes on green (no putting). I think this would be motivation and lots of fun for my son.

mthunt. I noticed kids tour is up.
Is it possible to play more than once, like Q school?
    Maybe pick the best score?
    Help them play more.

Bigger question, if he plays under my ID and this is a tournament, will this affect my tour hdcp or will it somehow be ignored?
There is a tournament open and it's the tournament but for some reason scores aren't showing in a leaderboard so we haven't launched it officially. Your kid can play but you must first set your handicap in TGC to 0 as this is a stabbleford event. Stabbleford is separate from the handicap system so it wont effect your handicap.

mthunt Thank you again for pulling this together! My son is getting new clubs for Christmas and I am sure he will be dying to give them a whirl. For us folks that are slow on the uptake(ie me), can you please let me know where I go to set the handicap to 0. Just want to make sure I am monkeying with the right number and I don't mess anything else up.

Its probably better to set your handicap + name temporary to the handicap and name of your kid. Its a stableford tour, so its easier to calculate the score if the system knows your handicap.
Use edit player to change hc + name.

Make sure to change everything back to what it was when your kid finished playing.

Hi Gang! Just wondering if this society is still going? I've got a 9 and 11 year old son looking to do some online play... we are in lockdown again so think this would be awesome for them!

There’s no kids society. I tried but there wasn’t enough interest. Those kids are likely playing the regular tour now. LOL

I’m looking for some weekly tournaments for my 9 year old. If anyone has started a society that has short course tournaments (kid-centered preferred), please reply or message me. Thanks.
