Club Suggestion is ENABLED.
Boost: OFF (+/-5% max on club settings)

TGC 2017 Q-School runs from May 3, 2017 - December 31, 2018.

HOW TO PLAY
From the main menu select PLAY-> PLAY TOURNAMENT -> ALL TOURNAMENTS -> SET FILTER TO PUBLIC COMPETITIONS

You can play by yourself, offline with friends or ghost players or online.

Hi chaps. Thank you for running this tour - only just got my sim setup, but already enjoying this element to it.
I recently completed Q school, but upon looking at the leaderboard there seems to be some incorrect data there or a bug. After my first 2 rounds of the major, the leaderboard was correctly showing rounds of 77 and 85, but once I completed my woeful 3rd round of 102, those 2 rounds disappeared. The player profile page suggests I only played the 102 round, whereas the tournament leaderboard is showing 91,88,102. Not sure where some of those scores have come from!?
Is there something I have done wrong?
I was hoping to complete New Orleans with a handicap, but have just done so and it's showing a hcap of 0. I wonder whether that is because it's not seeing all 5 completed rounds for the reasons above.

Would it also be possible to get my flag changed to United Kingdom. It's not a big deal, but nice to represent.

Thanks to everyone who contributes to this forum, the stuff I have read to date has been invaluable in getting me set up. I hope to be able to help others in time.

You do not have to do the qshool. You can start out right away on the regular tour, you will just have a zero hdcp i believe until you get in 5 tournament rounds.

Q-School (2 rounds at Beth Page and 3 rounds at Magnolia) establish your TOUR handicap which is different then your regular Handicap. Once you get the 5 rounds in you can participate in the Tour Events. I just went through it all here very recently. It's a lot of fun. Make sure you turn shot recording on and no rewinds... What's the difference between the Q-School tour and the "regular" tour? New to the simulator scene and tempted to try out one of these online tours.

Quick Question I’m brand new... Q-School, I did the 2 Rounds at Beth Page... Played one round Magnolia tonight, at the end I accidentally hit advance, trying to get out of game, planning on playing another two rounds at a later date, well it popped me back into Tournament I hit “esc” to exit, I didn’t hit a ball but it gave me a seven on hole #1 and brought me to #2 what the heck...? It’s not clear how to stop.... what do I do?

No, as long as its switched on when playing the tour.

I played the 5 rounds of Q-School but my shot recording was not turned on. I think I got it figured out and set to record. Do I have to replay the 5 rounds?

Thanks for the reply. My name shows up but not my shots. I double checked and my shot recording is set to “ON” in the config file.

What else could be wrong?

Go to a course and hit a shot then go the website and look for non tour shots or something along those lines it may take a few for the shot to show up

Quick question...

Is there a way to know that everything is setup and working before I start Q School? I don't want to waste a whole round.

-I have the same name set across the game, TGCS config, and forum.
-Copied the ID from the config and entered into forum profile.
-I have shot recording "ON"
-Gimme are set to 2 yards.
-No boost over 5%

Am I good to go? Is there a way to test or check?

Hi, played Q-school (2rounds Bethpage + 3 rounds Augusta) last week and was hoping to get a tour handicap calculation today, tuesday? But it says on my profiel page that I only played 1 round? Did I do something wrong?

Was -3 through 7 on my 2nd rd, and ended up +5. A bit of a collapse there mid round. Lost my focus.. Always enjoy playing this course though!
