Played my first round. This is my first sim golf for about the last 3-4 months. Been nursing a back injury. Hit the ball really well.

Its also the first round with new irons (Mizuno MP5 ).

I like this course. Nice and easy, greens not too hilly, looks good.

Playing so different every tournament day, yet always end up with 79, or a shot up or down. Hit the ball solid, but chipped really poor today, and putter was no help either.

Found yet another way to get a 79! Go +8 for the first 8, -3 for the next 9 and double bogey the last to make sure it's a 79

Just played my first ever tournament rounds, and first time i've ever putted in TGC since owning it for 2 years!! apart from my first tee shot where i topped it 50 yards i really enjoyed it, looking forward to playing in these comps now on.

one thing, i made sure that shot recording was set to ON in the settings file but there's a red X next to my name in the leaderboard, is there something else i need to do?

in the leader board it has the USA flag instead of the UK and shows my full name not my nick name so i assume i haven't linked my TGC profile to my forum profile?

I've realise my name in TGC and in the settings file were Tom Sebbage so I've change both of these to Tommyseb so now everything matches. Will the name on my results for this round automatically update?

I have played 18 holes and really like this course. double or tripled every par 3 however.

I was playing with you as a turn order ghost. We were head to head till the first paar 3 on the back nine. Got a shot limit there because I ended up with a drop location between bushes in front and a tree behind. So now you are in the lead by 7 or so lol. Will finish my first round today or tomorrow.

that is golf...I did better on the Par 3's the 2nd round. I even birdied one of them I believe. Lots of low scores this week.

This was my first actual round with the GC2 (from SkyTrak). I had zero shots that went undetected so that was nice. Putting is more consistent.

I have the following observations (note that it's been awhile since I've done more than pitch 'n putts with my son on the simulator):
1) My drives showed about 10 more yards carry on the GC2 display than I was achieving on TGC even with tees a little elevated above the landing area.
2) Sidespin ballflight seems exaggerated. I don't know that I can hook a 50 yard shot the way it showed on a couple occasions. This bit me on the downhill par 3 with water left as I hit a sweeping hook (followed by a fat hook) into the water with a PW. I suppose that is possible, but IRL I've been moving my irons about 5 feet right to left pretty consistently (while shooting around par), not 15-20 yards.
3) My quadruple bogey 7 doesn't show as 3+ bogey brownish color on the scorecard as the key says it should.

Agree on the sidespin. Hitting those greens is tough for playing a big sweeping draw.

Well, I was having a decent round at +8 after 16 holes when the connection to TGC got lost. It looks like my drive was a rewind. It did not fly so I re-hit. As soon as I did my original took off. Then my follow up 7 iron had a club head speed of 102mph. I wish I had that speed. I re-hit and then everything crashed. so that led to a restart. After the restart, i was on hole 13. I lost 4 holes. Yet my shots were recorded in the tournament shots. I did not have time to finish 6 more holes so I quit. We will see what happens when I start back again later.

ProTee United My second round did not post from yesterday. My shots are there in the shot recording. When i played yesterday the clock icon was still active. Can you fix this?
