I agree with the rules. Only thing odd to me is the two flighted leagues but, you still use handicaps.. If you are going to handicap the flights then why not just make it one giant league? Usually when using flighted leagues it's flighted on group of handicaps then that league doesn't use handicaps when calculating scores. If we are all handicap I fail to see a reason for multiple leagues.

It's how every amateur tournament I've ever played in is setup but, just my opinion.

You missed out on all the discussions on how and why we decided on the two flights. We had one big flight last year and there were some issues. We're trying it this way to see how it goes. Lots of guys are signed up for both flights but half are not playing so it's looking a little weird. Hopefully that will change soon.

Part of the problem is we all have to play from the same tee. When we can change that, I will consider a flight with no caps.

Going back to 1 flight for now. Points will be reduced accordingly and number of events played will not be carried over. Sorry.

Btw, a lot of you still need to post here saying you agree with the rules.

looks great and agree. One thing to possibly add to the solo play is the round must be recorded on the ************** site while recording.

Thought it was obvious but I will add it.

I don't know that it was obvious. I've played a few rounds where people had issues with the online site and posted the scores after. Stating it in the rules makes it a requirements so people can't play three twitch rounds and use the best one. Not that anyone here would do that but still...

Another thing, and this may not be the best place for it, but I'm getting confused with where all the penalty settings go. This has a lot to do with the little time I've have to play with the system settings. We have ProTee 2 and TGC which have some settings. We have the GSX interface which has penalties and club settings. And then we have the ProTee interface which has penalties and club settings too. Mix the two course systems, two simulator systems and two interfaces and it just gets confusing. I "think" I understand where to apply the settings for my setup but others seem confused too. For example:

With a GC2 on TGC. The rules say set all GSX settings to zero. Then ProTee Interface set bunker distance to 40 yards. Is a GC2 player supposed to set the ProTee bunker distance setting or is that for ProTee players only? I believe there is a setting for this in the GSX interface. See what I mean?

All you need to worry about is the GSX and for TGC everything should be set to 0 in the penalty section because the game itself sets the penalties. I dont think your protee settings are used at all anymore even if you set them.

I will make it clearer when I have time. Maybe this will help. We will not play another tournament using ProTee 2.0.

Ok, that is what I was thinking but wanted to be sure. So the green side bunker for GC2 players is 40 yards?

No ProTee huh. I guess I'll focus on getting my TGC video maxed. Not too impressed with the video on mine for whatever reason.

I believe it's any bunkers 50 yards in will have the 50 % penalty. Perhaps you can test it out and let me know. Although, that shouldn't be an issue. Should have bunkers that far out from green.
