3 birdie finish 😀. Super happy with that. Best I've ever played

So I got my shot recording situation all figured out. Can I get my handicap set back to the accurate number? Thanks!

I shot 11 strokes better today than my first round, but the second round isn't showing up.
Definitely have to be careful where you are hitting the ball in order to even see greens on your second shot on this course.

If your second round is not showing please try to load the tour again. It might not have finished correctly. Also make sure you exit the tour correctly going passed the review and results screen back into the main menu. Do not just close it down when you see your last scorecard.

Looks like I will be out of commission for a week or so until a new net arrives. My Net Return managed to get two separate holes through frayed polyester netting..
Hole #1 ended up with a golf-ball sized chunk of drywall missing.
Hole #2 went through my garage window
If I hit another ball my wife is gonna put a hole in me.. o.O
side question: Does each round count regarding handicapping even if you don't finish the tournament? I won't be able to complete round 2 in time.

There seems to be a bug on the website. Viewing my scorecard it turned my +4 and instead of coloring it deep red, it colored it light blue(same a birdie). That hole was a struggle :*( Not a fan of this course, completely takes away any advantage a long hitter has. I was too stubborn to put away the driver, but if I took 4 iron off the tee every hole I probably end up 4 shots better each round.1 Photo

Legit playing the worse golf I can ever remember. I hit every tree, bunker, and body of water I could find for 2 rounds. Balls going sideways, hooks, slices, fades, draws you name it. Just a total mess

Played real golf for first time yesterday and shot a 98. Was all over the place with driver and irons and could not hit a solid shot.
Less than 24 hrs later I play the best Sim round of my life. Golf. Go figure.
One thing I just realized is that I feel nice and controlled in my Sim room. It is kind of a tight space but I can make full swings no problem. My tempo is much more relaxed and my rhythm is better. Outside I feel the need to crush every shot and my whole tempo gets out of wack. Really going to try and slow it down next real round.

Agreed that perfect lie and aiming make a big difference. But I was having trouble making any sort of solid contact. Chunky, thin, hosel rockets you name it. Felt like a just learned to play.
I usually shoot low 80s with a few dips into the 70s. This game just amazes me how you can hit both ends of the spectrum so quickly.

Yeah I know the feeling. Experienced the exact same thing the other day.Originally posted by Timdm3 View Post

I noticed that I even took some setting up and adress routines from the sim to IRL play as well.. I have a 42 inch TV right infront and above my head as a second screen in my sim and i'm looking at it just as a reflex before every shot in the sim.. My buddy wondered if I got the yips or something when i did it IRL as well :P
But I second your "calm and no stressfull" Sim-experience. Golf is a minds-game and its great to get the feedback so you can work on that as well.
