We are running a Match Play event. We have done this with great success in the past. It's simple. This is an event based on flights so no strokes will be given. This is how we did it in the past and it worked. I take the number of players and divide by 16. 64 players is 4 brackets. There would be 4 winners this way. Players will be placed in bracket by TGC Tour handicap and seeded based on WGR. So a -3 that is ranked 50th would be in Bracket 1 but seeded around 16 in that bracket. A +12 that is seeded say 3 in WGR would be in bracket 3 but seeded high or say 1 in that bracket. Make sense?
Our current #1 does not do well in Match Play and ducked the Presidents Cup. Let's encourage him to put himself out there this time.
Rules:
-Connect with your opponinet and arrange match which has to occur within 1 week. If one player cannot make it the other goes through
-You and you opponent play straight up. No strokes
-Play current TGC rules. 5% settings, 6 foot gimmies ect. No rewinds.
