Just played my three rounds tonight. Had to get it out of the way since I will be sending my Skytrak back to have it looked at for a loose something inside. Would have had a better second round score, but I plunked two in the water off the tee with my slice. Got confident after cutting the corner with a solid drive in round one. In the third round I went with three wood and ended with a solid 86, which is really good for me. Very enjoyable course and is very playable for short hitters.

Played front 9 practice round yesterday. Even par. 3 or 4 birdiable holes especially if your 270ish off the T. Net scores for this tournament are going to be very good. Love the course - would be great to play a 6800 version if available.

Just played my 3 rounds. Was going great guns at about +3 gross up to 16th on the 3rd round and had a complete meltdown hitting my approach shot into the water at least 5 times in a row. Complete disaster! Didn't help that I got dropped back to my original shot 180-190yds away rather than just get a drop short of the water. Is this a game issue or a course issue?
Anyway... really enjoyed the course best I've every played up to that point.

I've often wondered about why the drop zone is the original place instead of an actual drop area that would be a normal drop on a real course.

Played a practice round. Really liked the course. A little tight on a few tee shots, but otherwise a short course with flat greens. I suspect we will see some very low numbers.

A very rough first round at Sawgrass. I switched to my old clubs after bringing my new ones outside (I can't hit indoor with dirty clubs) and between the different feel and existing swing struggles it wasn't pretty. I put up a 51 on the front 9 which included a six over par 10 on the 5th hole. I bounced back for a decent 41 on the back but it definitely wasn't enough to right the ship.

I applaud anyone who is able to make it through watching this round as I could barely make it through playing it...

So pleased with my round tonight. Disappointed with the score, but outside of just a couple of bad swings I played really well to shoot a +4. It could have easily been an even round, however I put a couple of balls in the water and wasn't able to scramble to save par on one of them. Had a couple of bad chips. Well one poorly struck one and then I think I got robbed on the read of another one. I played a perfect 18-foot flop shot and for some reason the unit did not pick up the spin and sent me 31 yards. That was TERRIBLY disappointing as it cost me a par. Couple of poor tee shots cost me tonight. I've went from a slice to a draw/power draw. So I'm putting my aim point well to the right and a couple I didn't get to draw back and sent them into the woods.

One thing that I have a question on is can we change the speed of the greens and if so is it legal to do it for tournament play. I played 3 rounds on JNPG prior to tonight and the putting is completely different as far as speed goes. It killed me. I left about three birdies within a roll or a half a roll from going in. A couple just a couple of feet. That was through my practice round and regular round. Cool if not, but definitely going to have to practice putting when switching back and forth or going to have to stop playing one or the other :-).

Really want to play another round tonight, but going to give it a rest.

It's a flaw or shortcoming in the game.

Had about a 245 shot on a second at a par 5 and faded my 3 wood, which I hardly ever do and missed it by about six inches. PLUNK in the drink. Sent me all the way back to the original shot. Second time I put the draw on it and was fine. I almost saved par on that one :-).

There's no rule on changing the speed. If you're using a GC2 you can do it by adjusting putting speed in GSX. The new update will allow greater control over putting greens.

Played my first round - first tournament round after Q-school! It's a very nice course. Things that costed me:
                        - left a couple putts half a roll short
                        - being unclear on the bunker distance/spin penalties from different yardages
                        - the 1000 RPM chip issue causing me to try and be perfect with the excessive roll on a short-sided chip and leaving it short

I really enjoyed the competitive feeling that came with the sim tournament. Carded an even par round and not sure how handicaps will play into it. My Q-school handicap seemed to be the average of my 5 rounds, which seemed odd since USGA is about potential and usually only takes X best rounds out of Y... So I'm curious how it all will play out.

Anyway, really enjoyed it and looking forward to round 2. I think it will also be interesting watching the PGA tournament after learning the course a little bit.

Shot 70. My best round ever (in IRL and on a sim)! Had an amazing lesson yesterday with my golf instructor and was glad to see it work "on the course".
