Hey Protee - I am about 2 weeks away from a purchase of your software (just purchased the skytrak, net, mattt, etc last month and need some more pay checks) Do you have a tournament about every week? What is a ghost player?

There's a tournament every week. The schedule is posted in this forum as spring tour. A ghost player is a round that is in the cloud that you play along with. Look at videos posted by ksman. He plays with ghosts.

Ghost player is a "live" representation of a previously recorded round of golf from another player, during your round. It's pretty sweet. I think it's one of TGC's best assets.

Did the course for this tournament change? I was practicing with Colonial Golf Club which was on the calendar late last week.

Yes, it did change. The Colonial's that are available on TGC are not the same as the PGA tournament in Texas. We only noticed this late yesterday. So a replacement course was chosen in it's place. It's better to play a good course than one that only shares the name. Actually there is another Colonial country club that does represent the courses on the TGC but it's not the one in Texas. This is why it wasn't caught earlier. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I just conceded my way through this course just to take a look. My first thought on hole #1.....don't hit any buildings. Some really cool holes here and some big elevation changes. The par 5's also look really challenging. Nice choice Mthunt. This course looks hard but fun.

Can you ghost yourself. Meaning, play around on Monday as you - then on Tuesday play against the you on Monday (so your ghost from Monday) In any event, the ghost does seem cool and useful.

I was 4 over going to the 15th hole and all of a sudden my box disconnected and went offline, this is the 3rd time this has happened int he past week. Is there anyway to reconnect the skytrak to TGC without closing TGC and losing my round?

Yea, just minimize the tgc game window and pull up the tgc interface and you just hit the blacked out connect button again until it reconnects and then re open the minimized tgc game window and your good to go. You don't even need to exit out of the round. In my video of the round I did for the havasu falls course that happens to me in one of the last couple of holes and I reconnect it just like I said here encase you want to see it done

Thanks. I did minimize TGC like your saying but the screen where you reconnect box was not there, so I opened TGC interface and it gave me an error message. I was pretty pissed at that point so I just shut it down

I'll give it a go again tomorrow. Not sure whats going to happen to my round since I quit after 15 holes

You won't lose your round. Your round will pick up where it left off.

Just click continue round on the main menu. You will get an error message on the interface when its started twice. This means one instance is still running in the background. The interface runs in the system tray. It shows a green and/or red ProTee shield. Right click to open and then close it, or reconnect to ST from within the interface.

You should be able to pick up where you left off. I have to stop rounds in progress all the time.

Maybe try going into the little icons on the bottom right of your screen and double click the shield looking one, it's red when disconnected and green when connected. If you double click that it should open up the interface. Maybe that will work to open the interface instead of clicking the actual shortcut on the desktop home. I think that may have happened to me a few times when I click the actual shortcut link before, it errors out because I already have it open it's just minimized I think. But double clicking the little icons on the bottom right (on a pc at least, not sure how a mac looks with it) should pop it back up for you....or at least worth a try

Didn't think about that. I will try it next time it happens. Thanks
