You can play by yourself, offline with friends or ghost players or online.

I didn't play as well in the second round as I did in the first. Also had an unfortunate hole where I was forced to rehit twice rather than getting a drop due to the bug with TGC which led to a 9 on a par 4.

Plenty of other loose shots and a few too many duck hook shots for a 7400+ yard course.

Memorial - Second Round

ks-man, I recorded my first round today using NVidia ShawdowPlay. The files came out pretty large. What settings do you use?

I think I just use the default settings. I get very large files too (about 10 gigs/round). I have a large hard drive so I don't worry about it.

Well, not sure the memorial was a good choice for my first tourney.... But it's in the books.....I hit a lot of 240ish yd drives and still had a 3 wood into par 4's.... That's too long for my liking... But nice course, looking forward to some shorter courses

Very average first round. One of those that for the most part I felt like I hit the ball so much better than I scored. I'm still struggling with chips out of the rough and sand. Had one sand shot that I thought was going to go about 16-18 yards and it end led up going 9 and then I doubled the swing the next time to get the needed distance and ended up going 30 yards :-(. Several rough chips that just came up WAY short of expectations. All leaving extremely long par saves. Putter just wasn't working very well. Burned a LOT of edges but just didn't sink many putts.

Went ahead and played round two right after because I felt good about the swing and my son is playing in his first competitive individual tournament tomorrow (we won a Generation tournament yesterday by two strokes in a scramble - he's 13 and was youngest player in tourney).

Anywho . . . Chips were just so much better in round two. Chipped in a couple for birds and dropped a 36-foot bird. Finished with a +6 78 in round two which I think was the lowest second round score so far. Really felt good and could have been even lower. Left about 3-4 par putts within a foot and 2-3 within couple of inches I'm guessing. Really happy with the effort.

My first tournament and my sim room in my garage only lets me hit hybrids of the tee so this was a massive struggle for me. On another note my flag is the american flag on my profile but can't seem to change to a english flag. Any ideas or would someone in tour admin be able to change this for me. If not it doesnt really matter as i've always wanted to live invamerica anyway. Will hopefully get my 2nd round in this evening. What time do need to get it in by.

Quick question i have my tgc handicap but it doesnt seem to be taking that into account for the tour. Any one let me know jow i get my tour hsndicap please. I just played 2nd round and played pretty good but my handicap still went up after by one shot. Im confused

81 for my first round. I recorded it. It is an hour and 6 minutes long. I believe most of ks-man's are around 50 minutes. I guess I play slow lol.

Round 2. Shot an 80. Really happy with that considering that I was fighting my swing early in the round. Just goes to show the short game is much more important. I think I shot 38-42 and hit it better on the back.

Played this round in 50 minutes. An improvement over the first round.

That was an incredibly long course for me. 450+ on most par 4s means I am hitting 3 hybrid to a green with water in front or to the side. I found water at least 5-6 times. Overall a tough tournament for me. If I played this course more I think I would use the minimap more and position play to better wedge positions. I think this feature is under-utilized by me since I played so long without the minimap. (6 months). I could score better but I still could not get under my handicap.

Yeah I have a tough time with these long holes right now. Mostly due to the fact that my driver off the tee is horrible, which leaves me with some really long approaches. Luckily I think I found something with my driver shots, always seem to go outside-in path with that club, need to groove that inside-out path. So with any luck once I practice this new swing they won't be as difficult

TGC tournament handicap is sepperate from TGC gameplay handicap. Tournament handicaps are based on past tournament play.

Just to chime in - course was great. Lots of water which is good and bad I guess. Really getting use to the putting and I'm really starting to like it, definitely pretty accurate (SkyTrak). Driver swing is horrible, going back to practice on grooving the inside-out path, I seem to do it just fine with my irons up to my 4H, but 3 wood and driver I just get to armsy. I wont finish my second round as I just started practicing mid round since I was doing so horribly

Thanks, take it on the gross scores! Gotta squeeze it out with those 0.6 strokes (if that's the tiebreaker haha), wbond has been tearing it up lately. bubs3141 is unstoppable right now for the net score with his new sticks. Hes working on the Byron nelson wins in a row streak here! Great playing bubs
