Played my final round. Not as good as the first but not as bad as the second.

Always looking back at those shots where I know I could have done better, especially around the Greens.

Played real golf this week, first time out since getting ST. First, let me say that last year I tried using an optishot; I was so afraid of hitting the slot that I think that thing messed me up more than it helped. But the skytrak on a cce mat, and tgc, it did help my game and made playing more fun. Having more concept of club distances and some muscle memory, it's cool to hit a green every now and then from a ways out. I did notice on well struck shots I was going past the target by a club, but on the whole, it seemed like the St feedback translated pretty well on the course.

First time playing on the sim since the weather turned. A lot like real golf at the moment, some good shots and some terrible shots.

Love the course. Of course it's great, everything he designs is awesome. I found it fair, looked great, and the greens were a good challenge.

Needed those 3 rounds this week in order to work out a few things in my real game for my league today. Been suckin it up.

any reason why the handicap in the game during the tournament is double what it is for TGC. My handicap on the TGC dashboard is 23. The same as the league. When I played my first round tonight against bubbs22 (ghost) by handicap was listed as 42, and bubba's was 16. About double what it should be. Is is a glitch?? Anyone else notice this?

Is the scout cam near the green bug specific to a SkyTrak or is everyone experiencing it?
I played my first round tonight (SkyTrak) and the scout cam made any shots near the green (or on the green with some distance to go) pretty much blind guesses.

I played the next course on tour and it did not do this. The scout cam acted normal.

It does do this on other courses, but maybe only once or twice a round, not too big of a deal. This course is crazy at how many times it does it.

I have this on the GC2 so it is not specific to skytrak. I don't use the scout cam too often but this is definitely different than I've seen in the past. Something is off. I'll pay attention when I play some other courses.

i got a logitech c930e and recorded for the first time last night. i had to take several rewinds because of accidental launches and misreads. at one point in the 2nd round, i cut the recording off because my putting sensor decided to quit on me so the 2nd part of the video i had to try putting from the hitting sensor which was pretty ugly.

              ****disclaimer****
i was not a golfer until my brother talked me into buying a protee simulator last summer, so if anyone happens to watch my videos, i am not very good. also, in round 1 my wife comes in and hangs out in the garage while i'm playing.

round 1 below. i will edit with round 2 as soon as it's done uploading.

First round in... I took off the last tournament to recharge my batteries, or work on a swing change, or spend some time with family, or ______ fill in your favorite PGA cliche here....

I couldn't make any putts. Right now I have to tap down my mat for putting as the turf is mounding up on the hitting spot. Probably a sign to rotate the mat or get a new one. I took a rewind on a putt that inexplicably went way right on the screen even though the ball rolled to the aiming point. I'm not sure what the deal was there, but figured everyone would rewind it.

              Good luck to everyone.

I'm curious. Out of 10 tournament rounds, how many rewinds are you guys doing? What's your best guess?

I imagine ProTee is 3 per round. Do any GC2 users do any. What about Skytrak?

In some tournaments, none. In this tournament, rd 1, 1 on a rocket misread putt. rd3, none. In round 2, I hit an approach (PW) into that short par 5 on the back 9. It landed short of the green, trickled on, then accelerated off the back of the green, I couldn't believe my eyes; maybe some others experienced it. At the time I thought, that must be some misread or other glitch, shoulda blew it off, but... Rewound and tried it, same result. Again, same result. Etc. After several rewinds and four letter words, I realized it wasn't a glitch, so went ahead and moved on. Was having a miracle round up to that back nine, ended up losing 6 or 7 strokes during that stretch.

Thats a good question, on average for skytrak id say maybe once or twice every round or two, maybe. The misread that usually does it for me is ill hit what I feel was a great shot for example with a PW and it almost always will do the same ball flight (do want to mention here that the ball flight isn't the issue, ill own the bad shot when I hit it, but just stating that what happens every time I get this weird reading), itll be a fade/slice that will go like 180+ yards (my pw is between 130-140) and have like 2 or 3000 backspin. The worst part is on video a rewind on that shot may be criticized. I personally know its a misread because I know my ball striking and spin numbers very well by now and I know that a shot with that little spin is pretty much impossible with a well stuck PW (theres a challenge for someone, hit a well struck 180+ PW with 2-3000 spin, is it even possible haha), but someone from the outside looking at it may just think it was a sliced shot and I over clubbed it. It does happens very inconsistently though, may go 4 or 5+ rounds without it happening at all then may randomly happen a few times in a round. Ill have to get it on tape next time a show everyone and see what they think. Cant really zone in on what it causing it yet

For me with Skytrak, I'd say maybe 2-3 rewinds over 10 rounds. The only time I ever had to use one really was when the chip shot would only spin a few hundred rpm and roll forever. The ability to turn off the chipping mode has corrected that for me though.

I've only had to do a couple total in all tournaments I've played.

GC2 here, and it really only misread probably 5 times since owning it. I believe it's from the sticker left on my 52* gap. It'll show a 20* or so push or pull, really easy to spot.

Now that the low spin drives are better, I really have no reason for rewinds.

My buddy came over one day. He had the M1. He's a +2 and every other drive was like yours was. He stopped hitting driver. Im glad that is fixed.

                      No rewinds here either.

I've only done 1 rewind. I guess I've played about 10 tournament rounds.

GSA user here. Maybe one per round. They are usually easy to spot. I had one during the last event. for some reason it picked up my driver. I do have about 2 or 3 no reads per round. Sometimes if a ball rolls slightly into the FOV of the camera, your shot will be messed up. One time a 9 iron went 350 yards. During the last 3 rounds of the open, I think that I had one or two over 3 rounds. I did have 3 no reads on tee shots in a row. The fourth shot was very much like the others and went down the fairway. I just upgraded to windows 10. We will see if that helps with the no reads. Sometimes when I have a low LA ( 3-5 degrees) the shot will be messed up. I golfed today IRL and had a few low LA drives. Today they were carrying 250-270 and rolling out 20-40 yards..... fairly straight with a slight fade. Today I played a really difficult course and shot a 91. Missed those 6 foot gimmes. I did hit 10 fairways though.
