After 2 days with no hockey I had a great practice round. Mind you, I hit autorewind when I had a distance that I wanted to practice..... usually 20, 60,80, 230-250 are the distances that I use autorewind for extra practice. Too bad you can't do that IRL......Just stand there from 230 out and just keep dropping balls. After about 10 or so...... say to your buddies,,,,, ok, I am ready to continue.... Game on. I really need to do that one day.

Damn Sam, Keither you're my hero!!!!! You play some serious golf! I posted my first round today and am embarrassed! Chipping putting is totally killing me! Even if I figured that out I'm way out of my league here but still having fun! Looking forward to getting the kahunas to be able to actually play some rounds with like Sim players in the future.Originally posted by keither5150 View PostAfter 2 days with no hockey I had a great practice round. Keep playing..... you will get better. When you get the hang of chipping and putting, it will be an awesome day. What I use as a general rule of thumb.....putting..... for every inch of elevation give it an extra foot or so of distance...... putting down 10"... putt about 10 feet shorter. When I first started, I was really happy breaking 90 consistently. Then when I broke 80, I took a picture of the scorecard and sent it to my buddies. Now if I don't break 80, I wonder WTF went wrong. Dougie...... I do play a lot, TGC and the sim..... best money I have ever spent. I still feel like a kid a Christmas when playing in the man cave.Last edited by keither5150; 12-11-2016, 03:44 PM.

Looks like you played the wrong tournament. We found your scoring on a "Crooked Sticks" tournament. You need to play the Franklin Templeton Shootout.

Ah, bummer, thanks. I just looked at the name of the course and knew this one was on that course. Rookie mistake. Had fun though. On the other point, shouldnt I see something on my page for shot recording?

You can leave your name as is. What you're missing is the TGC USER ID in your FORUM PROFILE. Right now its set to your name. This should be the ID you find in the settings file. Looks like XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX

Ok, got it. Thanks ProTee United.

Is there a chance I can finish my 2nd round today, the server was down in the afternoon and when I went to play it last night, I was a dumb F&$^*r and played the other crooked stick tournament.
It does not make that much difference though if I can't. I have been totally sucking since I got my GC2. I guess that is what happens when you have a LM that actually reads your shot correctly. lol
It has been a huge learning curve, but I am starting to get it together.
Has anyone else had the same prob when they got their GC2?

Daddio - I have a SkyTrak. I haven't had it that long. It seems pretty accurate thus far. It seems that either people love the ST or hate it. I'm still skeptical at this point. I haven't heard anyone not love the GC2 though. Good luck and just know that you're not the only one that can't hit a fairway.
