What is your shutter speed and gain set at? Seems dark.

Read the first post of this thread. Take a screen capture by pressing print screen, then paste into paint. Save as jpg. Capture should include the camera device settings window. And scroll to the right at the bottom so we can see the ball streak.

1: When testing in the interface alone, you must select the club you're testing.

2: set fps to 30 and shutter all the way to the right, for V-cam

3: appears to be insufficient lighting. Post a screen capture of the H-cam view.

4: you got Vcam using PT4 method. I recommended PT5.

Zmax thanks...I didn't get an h- cam with my package. I thought it was included but I have order one still. I was able to make most of your changes but I don't know how to change to PT5 (sorry still learning). Is the camera to far from the mat ? If I can't get this to work should I try the right side? Thanks again

That cold be it too. The V-cam should be around 7ft from the tee location. Please read my recommended settings thread for how to change that setting.

Just like I thought, your frame rate may b too high. Reduce to 30 as ZMax says. Put shutter as high as you can. If still too dark you can increase the gain somewhat. PT 4 should work but try PT5 as well. Post a new screenshot after these changes.

ok...I have made your recommended changes except when I switch to pt5 the spot where the launch occurred change forward really hitting sky balls. I have moved the camera to 7' away as recommended. please see new screen shot? becoming very very frustrated. Every thing I read on protee was so positive wondering now if I made a bad decision. Thanks for any help.

Everybodies home setup is slightly different. Yours looks very dark. The ball steak is faint. Unclick the auto brightness box. Turn the frame rate to say 27. If the ball streak is still faint, then turn the gain up a little. Once you get the right settings for your setup, write them down as the camera tends to loose it's settings. Try those things.

This is why I wanted to see the H-cam window. The 2 circles of light on the floor must overlap a little. Everybody makes this mistake because the instructions were written before the machine vision cameras were added. Looks like you also need higher intensity lights. How high are the lights mounted.

zmax and bubba- Thank you for your help. I have the lights over lapping now and as you can see from the picture the launch is much better. I just hit about 20 shots and only 1 had the launch at my follow through. I think one of my issues was that I was trying to put my second light over 18" since my mat has to be off center and I wanted to putt from the center of the booth. Any suggestions on that problem. Also you will see in the screen shot my ball streak is not showing up but my results up top are much better. I am a bit of a perfectionist and want to get my setup the best I can before I have some buddies over. I have not done anything with my putting sensor yet as I only have one chance to cut my carpet slots. Any t Click image for larger version
