I've realigned my H-Cam and seems to giving proper directional results now.

Second Question. What is the purpose of the H-Cam? Wouldn't the sensor mat provide directional information?

Also, is there some trick to getting screen captures to post? When I try to upload it is saying "invalid file".

The purpose of the H-cam is to measure the initial ball direction or ball path. The sensor mat's ball track can measure ball direction but not as accurate as the H-cam. People that don;t want to install the H-cam will use the ball track

To post images, save the captures as jpeg files. Then select images(must be in advance editor mode, "A"), then select upload files.

Q 3. What are the different V-Cam options, Pt5 I believe and something else I believe. One has the little red box and the other doesn't. What are the advantages and disadvantages of the two settings?

What is the best way to tweak my driver ball speed and smash factor. Having hit on a GC2 i had a smash factor and ball speed of around 1.47 and 147 mph, respectively, from 100 mph of club head speed of course. On the Protee I only seem to be getting at best a smash factor of around 1.42 with the same club head speed. Is bumping the ball speed up slightly the way to go?

Yes, that's the way to do it.

If your not using the HMT on GC2 the smash factor is a guess correct? I found the few times I hit on a GC2 (without HMT) the smash always calculated @ 1.45. It always assumed I hit the sweet spot. I only wish that was the case in reality. Just wanted to point that out, I don't think the GC2 does smash accurately. Can someone else confirm?

You are correct. The smash factor on GC2 or SkyTrak is a guess.

That being said I think I still need to bump up my ball speed on Protee, occasionally I do hit the center of the club, with good path and face angle, lol, and still only get a smash factor of 1.42 at best, so I think I will tweak it up slightly, and increase the drag slightly so I still end up with around 240 yards of carry, best case, which translates to my out door game.

I dont think you need to focus on the smash factor. GC2 without HMT is a ball data device. It uses the ball speed and other factors for ballflight. Without clubhead speed measurement, you can't get a valid smash factor. So when looking at your ballflight don't worry about the smash factor, in protee. If you check the Foresight section of this forum you will see the GSX settings that work well with Protee for your GC2. The driver is a bit finicky depending on your driver swing, so these settings aren't locked in stone.

Question on ball speed when chipping. I've noticed that when I chip with a launch angle of > 37 degrees my ball speed drops to about 80% of my club head speed, whereas if I chip with a launch angle of < 38 degrees my ball speed is about 120% of my club head speed. Is there a setting I need to correct?
