keither5150 The courses are beautiful in TGC2019. They are not Sim ready and we have a problem imho. That's my statement. The search function is not any better maybe worse. Favorites list has a picture but somehow it's more work to toggle. Course Discovery is not enhanced, regretfully. But what would it find if it were?

Even with the coming beta sync courses from Protee I don't think it'll amount to golfers with a 5 to 25 handicap finding courses made with them in mind. You can move the tee up all you want but what you have is a landing area that was never thought out ahead of time to be a landing area at that distance given a 265 driver and it has been thrown in and it's not going to save the experience a lot of the time.
Wide fun Fairways and approachable greens with the beauty and angles of some of the courses we've seen has not come together, all variables, at least seldom.
Every course starts out presenting their yardage as you scroll and it is like 7300 in onward, yesterday my personal favorite of 10300 was discovered.
No what we need is to commission talented designers to make these courses for people who actually play golf not for point & click golfers. That's not to say you guys can't design but we need more peoples, experienced ones.
For other reasons people in Forum brought up GoFundMe type ideas here and is anyone enterprising enough to come up with some sort of kitty or pool of money or funding strategy Maybe our members could dedicate five bucks a course (or something) to somehow monetize, incentivize course creation. Hold contests, what have you, I mean people are doing those creation contests for free already for Pete's sake.
What does anyone think? and is anyone up to coming up with a funding page and publicizing it for course creation?
