Strait ball path with square face produces shot 3 degrees left.

Can anybody help that doesn’t make sense. I think all other shots are also starting left of where the face is indicating by 3 degrees

Do you have a H cam and if so is the alignment correct? Are you getting a good streak? I might suggest you put some foot powder on your club face to see where you are actually striking the ball on the club face. That may give you more information.

If you have a high speed camera or even a 30 fps webcam can be useful. Take a video directly behind the tee and see where the ball strikes the screen. You can then tell what direction the ball is actually starting.

How about lie? You can be square/square with clubs too flat (RH) and it generates left spin.

What's the club path??? Your face may be "square" but that isn't the only element that applies spin... If you are in to out club path wise you are imparting "draw" spin that causes the ball to go left.

I'm thinking that you haven't really explained your issue clearly. Where do you get the 3 degrees left info from?

Check clubface correction in the settings file.
Set them all to 0 and see how this influences things.
if the mat is a little out or the board not absolutely square in the mat then you can correct it here and also the same applies for the club path correction.
You can access settings by pressing alt e.
Remember! Be careful in here and double check it before you save any changes.
It's a good idea to make note of the settings that were there originally.
