Hi Seth. I'm new to this forum but have been reading as much as I can about SkyTrak on this and other forums. It seems that many experienced sim users think that The Golf Club game is the best simulator software out there right now. In fact, if I'm understanding and remembering things correctly, Bubba22 and Zmax were instrumental (please correct me if I'm wrong) in getting ProTee to integrate their sim hardware (and gc2) with The Golf Club software. So my question to you/SkyTrak is simply this: Has there been any thought to integrating SkyTrak with The Golf Club? And if so, what are the odds that this might happen? And if so, when?

Sounds simple enough, so what are the specs required for the PC and also the cost of the software ? Thanks.Originally posted by ProTee United View Post
It will connect using the provided USB cable. You can extend the cable upto 33 feet (10 meters) by using a high speed USB extension cable with active repeater.

This is what we recommend:
OS: Windows 7 (64Bit), 8 (64Bit), 8.1 (64Bit)
Processor: Intel Core i5, i7 or equivalent
Memory: 8 GB RAM
Graphics: NVidia GTX 760 (or better!!!)
DirectX: Version 11
Network: Broadband Internet connection
Hard Drive: 20 GB available space
Sound Card: DirectX 9.0c compatible
The graphics card is the most important part. A better card will give you higher resolution, more detail and faster performance. Make sure you get the best one out there that you can afford. Do not try to save $50 on a graphics card as you might regret this later
Pricing and availability will be announced by Skytrak.

Virtual machines like parallels and VMWare will not work. We know some users are using bootcamp. Better go for that.

Does it work well with bootcamp and a relatively new Mac desktop? Would a good laptop work?

A good laptop will work. The most important part is the graphics card. Bootcamp is something we have not tested but should work fine as long as the PC specs are ok.

I am so stoked! This is the best news ever! So Bubba22, is there a delay between the shot and the display in TGC? If so, how long? Hopefully it's much faster connected to a PC than to an ipad.Originally posted by Bubba22 View Post
Ok as you guys know Skytrak is working hard to get sim software options. You already know about E6 and WGT. Well as you guessed TGC is in the works. I have been testing Skytrak and TGC and it is very, very impressive. All shots including chipping and putting work great. Connection is easy and flaweless. Be patient, it will come but there are more testing and finalization to occur before its released. Give me a couple of weeks to get more info.

Exciting news!
I'm anxiously awaiting some sort of simulation soon!!! Frustrating seeing release dates come and go.
I've searched over and over and am a bit fuzzy on what The Golf Club software costs? Who actually sells it? TIA

PDougie, currently the TGC simulator comes as a package deal, free with with ProTee's regular simulator software. Check out ProTee's site. Sorry Wilson, no sim software will ever be $40. That's the regular video game. Not sure what ProTee is planning for the ST version as they have stated above that Skytrack will announce pricing. Seems that ST will sell it directly when available. Most sim software will run you between $1k and $2k. I'd think this lands nearer to the high end. Hopefully for ST users the company makes a deal and gets that cost down for you. Their model is lower pricing, so hope that still exists here. Either way, it will be substantially more than the Steam version. Hope it gets there soon for all of you ST folks!Originally posted by DougieMn View PostExciting news!
