I am glad SkyTrak changed their tune, as I was 12 hours away from shipping my unit back. I really like my SkyTrak, as it gave me something I never thought I could afford (a really good launch monitor), with the added bonus of a simulator. The only other product out there I like is the GC2, but there is no way I could afford a GC2. The base model is like buying 3 SkyTraks, and the one I would really like (the Quad) is like buying 8 SkyTraks!
I am really liking what the SkyTrak is doing for my game. Hitting into a net can get boring, and bad habits can creep in when you cannot see the flight of your ball. It has allowed me to experiment with changing my grip, without going through all those bad shots on the course. As others have said in other threads, if you take the time to tweak how your SkyTrak is set up, along with tweaking everything else, you'll have more positive experiences with your SkyTrak and less frustration.
I have heard from some really good golfers on this forum and they all seem to credit their success to the amount of practice they put it. I feel that using the SkyTrak motivates me to go out and hit balls knowing the amount of feedback I receive on each shot. I'm actually getting to the point that I can tell what my ball is going to do after hitting it before I see it on the display.
