So I noticed punte put some stats up and if you look at his swings. They are all in the neighbourhood of 285 avg with a 118 mph swing. Those are almost exactly the stats I would get. So thanks punte for saving me time and money to prove my point that I been saying from day one. And this looks like it's used to calibrate was a trackman. So I think this conversion is done and I can go to the board with this information and go back to my settings I had previously.

I'm going to try and get on Trackman today too. Not sure if my buddy is in Portugal teaching or just sitting at the store waiting for me to pop in though. Hoping for the best. Don't really want to pay the 90 bucks an hour for walk in customer though so I'm hoping I can just walk in and hit a few bombs while catching up....

Edit: Maybe not. Have to go home and do the Playoff...

Re hitting 290: Tested some drivers at PGASS last weekend and thought I would show my stats. I'm a pull/draw hitter off the tee and the majority of these were "in play," especially the STRAIGHT 202-yard shot where I grounded the driver before it hit the tee.

The R5 and R7 are actually my clubs; I have both of them in my current clubset.

For example there is a local indoor golf establishment that uses About Golf simulators. I know many people that agree that their distances and speeds seem high. Again the About Golf simulators are 50K+ and high end. So my thinking is they probably "slightly" boost numbers so players don't play as bad and don't want to come back...LOL. Sad but true! If you can test on a Trackman, Flightscope or GC2 that will give you a real true estimate of your swing speed.

Mike also great suggestion about club selection pre round etc. I think tomorro I'll be writing up my full and final proposed guidelines which id urge you all to read as if agree please write your support for as The Board ( of which I am not part) have said that they wish to act upon the wishes of the players as best they can. They need this to be fully read and agreed upon as best we can, backed up by evidence, Which I think we have, and then they will review fully and hopefully implement

Thank you all for your constant suggestions and work on this. If anyone wants to come up with some solid NO BALL. Setting numbers I think that's all we'll need to get this finalised

It might not be boosted by the owner. It could just be how HD Golf wants it. Indoor golf facility owners will always choose ease of use over accuracy any day. It could also be generously using the wrong estimated spin.

Also think once we get these settings agreed that nobody should be allowed to raise the shot type higher than regular for Driver, Wood and Hybrid Woods due to the significant increase in distance.

Regarding irons, I think a player should be allowed to raise their shot height if they are in the bunker and need to get over a bunker lip or is 60 yards or less to green and wants to create more of a flop shot.

A player should always be allowed to lower their shot height on any club. This allows a player to hit a 3 iron low in the woods to get out or chip a 9 iron to get more roll.

Mike and all check the new era thread for info on the Trajectory Testing Results.

The owner which is a friend of mine said there was no option for a boost.
