I see 17 is having it's fun with a few people. dg_1983 was -6 with only 3 holes of the tournament left, but 16 and 17 made short work of all 6 shots. Brutal game!

Funny how a little 130 yard shot makes you sweat.. I was just happy to hit the left edge of green.

18 almost got me in round 1. My approach shot was pulled left and I got a lucky bounce off the retaining wall and it stayed in. I chipped that shot in for a birdie and my first ever round shooting par! My poor handicap though has been plummeting the last few rounds.

10 birdies over 2 rounds and finish level par! Couple of poor swings and odd reads at bad times. I gave up at 17 after the first odd hit.

                      Round 2 Hole #17.

Swing #1 - a beauty. I'm thinking it might snuggle up to the hole... uh oh SkyTrak isn't responding.. milliseconds pass by and you know its not going to register.

regroup. It's OK. Give it another swing just like before.

Swing #2 - another gem. tick tick tick. nothing.

                      Now I'm angry and nervous.

Swing #3 - unfolding lawn chair. SkyTrak wakes from its slumber openly mocking me while my ball splashes down in water. Swing #4 the same.

Man sometimes I hate SkyTrak. Very tempting to go sink another 6-8k$ into a gc2 + hmt...

Lol, I had so many of those moments with skytrak. Mine were always on the tee where I'd have to hit it 3 times to register and I flushed the first 2 then number three is a half assed swing and a pull hook or slice across fairways. I don't miss that at all

I hate to complain with a 67 in my 2nd round but I blew it on 16 with a 9, 3 balls in the water on my approach shot. Real bummer

Same here. I love the course. 17th was nice and probably the easiest for me.

I don't always hit my 9 iron ten yards longer than normal, but on #17 I do.
